My true up charge is close to 4.5k every year since we bought the home 4yrs ago... The solar that came with the house was not enough for us. we work from home and I was researching how to offset my ridiculous true up charge. The best solution seemed to be adding batteries, and consume energy from those during peek hours. My neighbor has a EV and had his installed by this company. So I included them in the researched i did over 4 solar companies and this seemed the most straightforward and reasonably priced. I started my research in November, and install was in late january. They handled all of the permits/fees/documentation with the city. And lemme tell ya.... Im finally getting credits. I had -$45 dollars last month. So glad i went with this decision to add this to our existing system. We also got grandfathered in NEM 2. They handled everything, and kept me cc'd on all the comms with the city. Not only that the electrician sat with me and downloaded the app, showed me how to use it, and how to get the mist out of it according to PG&E usage plans (which were confusing until he explained it). Next, they showed me where i can add some panels during the onboarding process. so after i pay these batteries off... im gonna consider that when i pay these off. Thanks again to the team!
