Great company. They sold us a duplex in Tucson in 1982 and my husband's mother lived in one side…read moreand EMS took care of the other unit. When she passed, EMS took over total management of both units and has done a fantastic job for over 40 years. We just sold the unit and again, EMS took care of the sale. They are a very honest, hardworking and knowledgeable company and they have exceeded our expectations for service in every way. Our renters also appreciated EMS as the landlords! THANK YOU EMS. The absolute worst experience I've ever had renting…read more I told them more than a month before I was scheduled to move in that I had a cat allergy and advised that the apartment would have to be cleaned professionally because the previous tenant had cats. That didn't happen. From the beginning, I have dealt with a persistent, horrible odor throughout the apartment, excessive cat hair and filth, and problems that should have been identified and addressed before the property was ever handed over to a new tenant. What has made this experience even worse is being repeatedly gaslit and lied to about what has actually been done to this property. I have been told that the apartment was professionally cleaned, that issues were addressed, and that the matter was resolved. Yet I continue to physically find evidence that says otherwise. Just today, I had to scrape gunk and cat hair out of the stovetop. Every crack, crevice, corner, and hidden area I inspect has another layer of disgusting buildup left behind. This is not what anyone should consider a professionally cleaned home, and it is absolutely not a condition anyone should be paying $1,300 a month to live in what was treated as a litter-box. And this is where the situation becomes especially difficult to understand: if Jennifer had actually come to the property at any point to personally inspect what was supposedly cleaned and resolved, she--or frankly, anyone with seeing eyes would have been able to see that these problems were still there. The washing machine has had an unbelievable amount of cat hair and debris in it. The HVAC has not been cleaned. I have spent my own time and hundreds of dollars trying to make this place livable, while simultaneously being told that the problems have been addressed. They haven't. I am not talking about a few missed crumbs or an apartment that wasn't spotless enough for my liking. I am talking about a property with pervasive cleanliness concerns because the previous tenant treated it like a litter box for her three plus cats. Unresolved conditions that should have been caught before a new tenant ever moved in--and certainly should have been caught when management was supposedly inspecting and resolving these complaints, but they never showed up. The most frustrating part is that I have continued to discover these things myself while being told otherwise by the people responsible for the property. I expected a clean, habitable apartment. Instead, I have spent an unreasonable amount of time and money cleaning up after the previous tenant, documenting problems, dealing with an awful odor, and an entire team of people who have done absolutely nothing except try to hold me accountable while taking zero accountability, refusing to actually acknowledge what is plainly in front of them while basically telling me to move out.

Our friend said hands down Nicole Brule-Fisher When we first started looking we were thinking second house. We exchanged emails with Nicole and made arrangements to drive and look at houses. Nicole spent all weekend with us showing homes, connecting with other agents to give us more options. There was one house that was amazing that she was able to show us before it even went on the MLS but it didn't have a place for a pool. (sad face) Nicole showed us a bunch of houses but nothing we were ready to pull the trigger on (this is the beginning of October). So we went home and Nicole started emailing us listings. There was one house that we wanted to see but we couldn't get away. Nicole went out and face timed us for a walk-through. Since we were relocating there wasn't urgency on our end. We were looking for a turnkey house that hit all our must haves. Anyway, my husband was on a quick trip to Tucson and I was in California when I went on Zillow and saw this sweet fixer upper in a great area. My husband called Nicole to see the property. I guess she was unavailable because she told him Nick would meet him at the property. Nick was great - he's unpretentious, friendly and knowledgable. We wrote an offer on the fixer and with their recommendation added an escalation clause. Our offer wasn't selected but became the backup offer. Anyway, all the stars aligned when the first party backed out and we got news that the sellers wanted to accept our offer. woot woot! The fixer didn't have everything we wanted but the location was so amazing and the price low enough that we decided to take on the project to get exactly what we wanted. I honestly didn't think we were in that headspace when we started looking. I really liked working with Nicole and was a bit bummed that we got kicked to Nick. Life happens though - it was during covid so who knows why this happened. On the up side...We also really liked working with Nick. They both were great and have gone the extra mile for us - before, during and after the purchase. Before we closed, two turn-key properties came up on Zillowthat we absolutely loved. We made a trip out to Tucson just to be sure we were making the right decision with our "fixer" - We passed on them, but those houses were very tempting. Nick recommended contractors and inspectors so we could get things inspected during our 10 day inspection period. He really made this part of the transaction go smoothly. My husband and Nick did the final walk through. Nick was with us every step of the way. After the sale we got a notice from the city that we had a water leak. One of our neighbors saw the notice and called the listing agent who in turn called Nick. Nick called us and was kind enough to go to the property to turn the water off for us. The only area that I felt didn't go as smoothly as I would have hoped is with the lenders they recommended. There was some miscommunication that was really inconvenient especially around the holidays. I would highly recommend Nicole and Nick if you are looking to buy a property in Tucson. They are both professional, unpretentious, and know the area extremely well. It was a pleasure to work with them and we appreciate all their time and care.

Their knowledge of, and experience in, the Tucson real estate market made it easy getting to an acceptable offer and navigating through the various steps to close. Their efforts even included working tirelessly to find a home for all the furniture we chose not to take with us. Both Nicole and Nick and friendly, easy to talk to and understood the emotions that accompanied saying goodbye to our home. We have absolutely no complaints working with Nicole and Nick and highly recommend them to anyone looking for the very best in help selling their home.

I would like to be fair on this review. To start they either have no idea of the Tucson market or…read morethey flat out lie to get your business. Before I signed, I was told they would be able to rent it for X amount, granted I did think it was a little high of an estimate, but after three months they wanted me to lower the price by a whole 1/3 of what they promised me they would be able to rent it for with their "analysis". I will say they are friendly and responsive. However, they did ask me to do some repairs and improvements to help get it rented and I agreed but for their recommendation I was charge $150 to hang 5 paintings. I am an engineer and I do not even make that much, even giving them the benefit of the doubt for an hour of work at most I was shocked. Another fix they suggested I agreed to and made payment but three months later it was never even touched. Also I had the house professionally cleaned before handing it over but they kicked it back to there cleaners and charge me for a full price for a cleaning (not to mention they tried to charge me for an extra cleaning before I called them out and got a refund). They have a pretty hefty up-front fee of ~$700 that they said would go to photos and marketing, but I question if they spent even half of it on what they said. Finally, I asked them multiple times to list the property on AirBNB which they told me at signing they would, but they never listed it even after multiple request. In the end of everything they took ~%50 of the booking after all they are fees and services.
