Instead of creating a supportive learning environment, his approach often felt intimidating. There were multiple instances where he used what came across as scare tactics toward students . Threatening to send home, raising his voice, insisting making examples out of people, telling students they don't want to see Drill Sergeant Vaughn, and creating unnecessary pressure rather than actually helping anyone improve. Learning is already stressful with it being nights and some students have work schedules, but this kind of environment makes it worse. Instead of deescalating, it felt like students were hesitant to speak up out of fear of being singled out. That's not how a classroom should operate, especially in a program where people are trying to build skills and confidence. Beyond that, communication and overall organization at the school didn't help much either. It often felt like concerns weren't taken seriously, and there wasn't much effort to address the environment being created.

So I will say, they must do better before you even get an appointment. She gives you bits a pieces and then throws out a date and time, to which you will have to ask leading questions. This is your business I know nothing about it, please do better. We purchased the six 2-hour driving sessions for $830.90, which included pickup and drop-off at our home. Unfortunately, I do not feel like we received what we paid for. My daughter had approximately 3-4 different instructors. Only one of them was professional and provided quality instruction. The others were, in my experience, lazy and unprofessional. There were multiple occasions when the instructor arrived late for pickup or ended the session early, which meant my daughter was not receiving the full amount of driving time we paid for. During the first three sessions, my daughter barely left our subdivision and received very little actual road experience. I eventually had to call and complain. We were then assigned an instructor who was excellent and actually provided the type of instruction I expected. Unfortunately, the last two sessions went right back to the same issues--very little road driving, spending time practicing turns and parking in a parking lot, instructors arriving late, and one instructor wearing sagging pants and eating in the vehicle during the session. I called multiple times to complain and attempted to speak with a manager, but the manager was never available, and no one returned my calls. I paid $830.90 expecting my daughter to receive quality driving instruction and real-world road experience. Unfortunately, I feel like she got very little from the majority of these sessions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Orange Park Driving School to parents looking for quality instruction for a new driver.

He had earbuds in (super safe to do while driving/weaving through traffic, right?) and only used his turning signal ONCE (after merging multiple times without it) after noticing I was taking pictures of his tag. I will also be reporting to the proper authorities. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this traffic school - if their instructors can't obey traffic laws and endanger other people on the roadway without students in the car, why would you want to "learn" from them?

I was very appreciative of my instructor Albert for being very knowledgeable and patient. He was able to talk me through situations that I was struggling in and I left feeling much more confident in my car. We had a 4 hour lesson but could have ended in half that. We started off in his car then half way through worked in mine. He tailored different practice situations to things I was wanting to focus on and what he recognized could use more work.
