He had earbuds in (super safe to do while driving/weaving through traffic, right?) and only used his turning signal ONCE (after merging multiple times without it) after noticing I was taking pictures of his tag. I will also be reporting to the proper authorities. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this traffic school - if their instructors can't obey traffic laws and endanger other people on the roadway without students in the car, why would you want to "learn" from them?

He was able to talk me through situations that I was struggling in and I left feeling much more confident in my car. We had a 4 hour lesson but could have ended in half that. Instead of creating a supportive learning environment, his approach often felt intimidating. There were multiple instances where he used what came across as scare tactics toward students . Threatening to send home, raising his voice, insisting making examples out of people, telling students they don't want to see Drill Sergeant Vaughn, and creating unnecessary pressure rather than actually helping anyone improve. Learning is already stressful with it being nights and some students have work schedules, but this kind of environment makes it worse. Instead of deescalating, it felt like students were hesitant to speak up out of fear of being singled out. That's not how a classroom should operate, especially in a program where people are trying to build skills and confidence. Beyond that, communication and overall organization at the school didn't help much either. It often felt like concerns weren't taken seriously, and there wasn't much effort to address the environment being created.

Definitely the biggest and best tip. It was cold and raining and he made sure that our entire class was comfortable and dry. The constant check ins and asking us how we all felt was really helpful for when emotions got high. I will never forget the test and the compassion that Mr. Greg had. He treated everyone with such a great amount of respect and really related to everyone in the class. I felt so much more confident riding and he gave encouragement throughout. I never once felt bad when I stalled (definitely user error). Thank you so much Mr. Greg for being such an amazing person and instructor. And thank you for texting me the next day to give me more words of encouragement. It meant a lot. One more thing to say is that I originally was meant to be in Mr. Brent's class. I was hours late due to work and he was so accommodating. He moved my days for me and put me in Mr. Greg's class so that I could still do the course.
