I was given lessons by John Lu and he was a very good instructor. Took my drivers test and pass today. The driving school is A1.

I used Orange Park Driving School for my 16-year-old daughter, and with five children, this was by…read morefar the worst driving school experience I've had. We purchased the six 2-hour driving sessions for $830.90, which included pickup and drop-off at our home. Unfortunately, I do not feel like we received what we paid for. My daughter had approximately 3-4 different instructors. Only one of them was professional and provided quality instruction. The others were, in my experience, lazy and unprofessional. There were multiple occasions when the instructor arrived late for pickup or ended the session early, which meant my daughter was not receiving the full amount of driving time we paid for. During the first three sessions, my daughter barely left our subdivision and received very little actual road experience. I eventually had to call and complain. We were then assigned an instructor who was excellent and actually provided the type of instruction I expected. Unfortunately, the last two sessions went right back to the same issues--very little road driving, spending time practicing turns and parking in a parking lot, instructors arriving late, and one instructor wearing sagging pants and eating in the vehicle during the session. I called multiple times to complain and attempted to speak with a manager, but the manager was never available, and no one returned my calls. I paid $830.90 expecting my daughter to receive quality driving instruction and real-world road experience. Unfortunately, I feel like she got very little from the majority of these sessions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Orange Park Driving School to parents looking for quality instruction for a new driver.

Oof. Saw one of their "instructors" driving 60 MPH on a 45 MPH stretch of 103rd Street TODAY…read more(03/07/26) @ 9 AM. He had earbuds in (super safe to do while driving/weaving through traffic, right?) and only used his turning signal ONCE (after merging multiple times without it) after noticing I was taking pictures of his tag. I will also be reporting to the proper authorities. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this traffic school - if their instructors can't obey traffic laws and endanger other people on the roadway without students in the car, why would you want to "learn" from them?

BEWARE ASPIRING TRUCK DRIVERS!!! I do not advise taking your skills test and road test through…read moreNational. I was just set up for absolute failure. The gentleman administering the tests, completely failed to tell me the exact boundaries during the ally doc, which resulted in me failing (as any new driver would). The boundary that is perpendicular to the ally doc, is jagged and allows for a wider turn after initiating in reverse. I verified with the instructor before hand, and his exact words were "the three cones are your boundary for that side", which implies that you do not go past the three cones (when in reality you can and must go past them after the initial 10 feet or so, using the reversing techniques I learned in training... which apparently are very different than what National teaches). After failing the ally doc, which is virtually impossible to pass without being aware of the ACTUAL boundary, I was sent home with a "better luck next time" attitude. The instructor should have admitted to his false instruction and allowed me to take the test the right way, under the CORRECT instruction. I think it's very possible that this was done to me on purpose. In any case I will be copying and pasting this review to every site I possibly can to ensure others know to steer clear from testing here. I will also be reporting this school's incompetency to the better business bureau. $450.00 is an awful lot of money to be cheating people out of. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but I feel this one is a very necessary effort to warn others.
