We added the reader after the trial but she was able to get everyone done on the wedding day. First off the trial, she worked with me with colors of lips, different eye styles, etc but she did such a good job, right away, it helped me calm my nerves about a make artist -- I was planning my wedding from out of town. She was able to fit me in for the trial when I was home for 1 weekend in March. She is very professional with great contracts and communications ahead of time. The day of the wedding, she took care of everyone's make up and I arrived from my hair appointment.. I was totally calm because I knew what I was getting with her. She had the set up for two chairs and she brought an assistant that helped with make up for others. Thank you so much for making be look so pretty on my wedding day. Use Amy if you can and you wont regret it.. she made sure my freckles showed on the big day -- which was very important to me.

Megan was sure to provide a service to me based on my wants and needs instead of trying to sell me something that wouldn't be a good fit for me personally. This is a great testimony to her love for her profession because it reflects who she is as a business owner. She has her clients' needs and interests in mind over trying to sell a service that would not be a good fit but what could have been a bigger profit. Caroline worked on my lashes. My Unintended Nail Adventure…read more I've been on the fence about writing this review, but I feel I must spill the tea on my nail escapade. First off, let me just say, Abby, who did my pedicure and manicure was sweet. But bless her heart, her inexperience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I fear someone else might get caught in the same storm. So, I'd been to this place before for a pedicure, and it was lovely. Fast forward to late April, I decided to return for a manicure (no polish) and a classic gel pedicure. I had gel on my toes beforehand and specifically asked her to be gentle with my nail beds (the grinder scares the bejesus out of me). This time, Abby was in charge, and let's just say, it was a bumpy ride. She went a little rough on the larger nailbeds, and I had to ask a few times for her to be more gentle. Not clean, and the toenails were not smooth. The polish job was a disaster - messy, uneven. I probably should have got up at that point and just left, but I figured how bad of a job could it be to just have a manicure. Abby clipped, grinded, and filed my nails with such gusto that my fingertips ended up sore and raw. She didn't bother trimming the hangnails either, which was odd. I don't know if was laziness because she was the only nail tech in there, and I overheard that she wanted to escape (someone rang while I was there to try and schedule a 5pm appt, which she declined). A week later, when I went to try on rings, I noticed something odd. The nails she worked on were lifting or something bizarre was happening. I freaked out and asked my doctor about it. Turns out, it might be something called "Onycholysis" - a fancy word for "your nails are rebelling." It's painless but looks like a disaster. I've never experienced anything like this. I thought about going back to the salon to explain what happened, but honestly, it seems like more trouble than it's worth. So here I am, sharing my nail horror story. I will not be returning.
