Since our house has sliders front and back we chose a tough mirror finish tint so that others couldn't see al the way through our house while the blinds were open. I was back home on vacation with my new truck and wanted to get my windows tinted. I have a 2015 Ram 2500 quad cab, split rear window. Rick explained tint options to me and educated me on tint in general. He uses exclusively Llumar tint which carries a legit warranty. He removed some cheap aftermarket tint off the two front windows and wrapped my truck in 15% with a sun strip. Price was fair and he was done right on time which was perfect. Check it out this was the most easiest decision i made when it came to getting my car tinted. Seems like these days these companies are too expensive or too lazy to do the work. I just needed the back window of my mercedes done most of you who own Mercedes you put cheap tint on the minute you start turning you rear window defroster within a few months it bubbles up. Well he uses only the best tint and offers warranty on the tint. I found a few shops on yelp and they wanted to charge me upwards of $250 to do one window and they were using 3m the cheapest stuff on the market. This guy was honest and affordable. He told it like it was and was very knowledgeable of the material he was using. I have always had my windows tinted and at a young age learned the difference between 3m and llumar tint. I have had both and what he was saying validated what i was told in the past. Lets get to the service itself the guy was friendly. He squeezed me in between appointments and did a stellar job. He knocked it out quick right in front of me. I guess thats what you get when you have a professional do something. The guy was like an artist he laid the film down before i knew it it was cut perfectly he prepped the back window and had on the window just as fast. When he was done the window looked great and like other places didnt leave a mess all over the back of my car. He cleaned up after himself wiping down any wet spots and took his time to clean the outside of the back window so you can see how clean of a job he did. He walked you through the inspection told me what to look for if for some reason the tint didnt take or any other type mishaps that might occur. He reassured me to bring it back if something does happen. I write reviews because im really happy with services or enjoyed the things i have purchased. There really is no grey area in my post. 5 stars to me means i am really stoked on this place if you get a 1 well you have completely lost my business. I brought my 13 wrx hatchback and he was able to take it in and gave me a good deal. As others have said, Rick has 24+ years of tinting experience. This gentleman know his stuff. He is very meticulous, took his time, and showed it through his work. He is a long time supporter of the military and will cater to your needs. I'm a prior service Marine and now enlisted in the Army as Military Police, so when discussing a service that should have went smoothly, this definitely was not one of this instances. The first thing was the increase of price that was already agreed upon which was $100.00, second the tint that was applied started to deteriorate two months from the date of the application. I've had 10 vehicles tinted over the course of the past 9 years at 3 different shops. I used Sunslayer for my most recent purchase, a 2012 Challenger R/T. He did an excellent job, the window lines are perfectly cut, and the pricing was very decent. Go to another place! Had the 2 front windows and the windshield tinted. Horrible, garbage. He even did the front passenger side twice with the same results. For 350 bucks I expect more.
