Great service ! Above and beyond. Had an issue with my tire. Showed up at a reasonable time especially since it was late and a Sunday. On arrival extremely helpful. Forgot the drivers name but helpful , professional and did more then he should have to provide great service. I highly recommend their services. read more

I was so scared ! not professional at all ! he threaten not to show up . all did was questioned he's eta. and his companies address . My insurance hired this company for roadside assistance. I advised sunshine roadside that my vehicle was in a dangerous location and so me and my kids would be inside of a store to ensure our safety. Not only did the service driver arrive almost an hour late (thank God the store owner let us stay past closing hours to make sure we were safe) but he also thought it was a good idea to scold me for not being next to my vehicle. I called sunshine roadside to let them know what happened and instead of caring about how their driver represented their company, they said he didn't do anything wrong because he didn't cuss me out. Thank goodness my son recorded the phone call so that I am able to let my insurance provider know the kind of roadside assistance they are sending out to their customers. read more

When I needed a jump they gave me an estimate of 2 hours and came within the time frame. When I needed a tire change after my tire flew off on the freeway they came in 1 hr. Reliable service and they have helped me more than once through my insurance (Mercury). Yes, I understand the wait feels like forever when you're in need, but trust me, you can be calling for assistance for hours on end without luck. Sunshine has saved me 2 times already. read more

I was quote that the serve provider would be at my location by 315 I waited until 325 to call him and he said he Is still 15 minutes away. He could care less that I already waited 45 minutes for a jump. He figures you're stuck you can wait till he gets around to it. Call another provider. read more

Woke up this morning to a dead car battery and called our insurance's roadside assistance number. A gentleman from Sunshine Roadside was dispatched and arrived within the time we were told. Service was fast, professional, and very safe during heavy Covid-19 restrictions (social distancing and a mask). my car ran out of gas then battery died right off the ramp on the freeway.. I appreciated Carlos assisted and told me before hand that it would cost 5 bucks and got rude when I didn't have it in cash 5 bucks. he was like "you don't have 5 bucks" i said no sorry i don't carry cash.. so i offer to zelle him and because i could not function it and got impatient... with a hwy patrol present... between exchanged conversation in between ( with my significant other) he tells the cop that maybe he needs to check us for drinking...( and accused my significant other of punching and pushing him) I was highly offended. I had got off work carlos tired and agitated and instead of zelle him 5 i zelle him 30 bucks!! which he offered to send me 25 bucks back but i kindly said no it was for his INCONVENIENCE... you are not very customer friendly no matter what situation you're in you need to maintain your cool. read more

DO NOT GO WOTH THIS SERVICE. 0 stars! TLDR: Don't go with this company. We had a 2 hours + wait and they ended up cancelling after they had just told us they were 15 minutes away. Would have appreciated knowing they couldn't help us as soon as they knew vs being strung along. Company doesn't care about people that are stranded and need support or else they would've communicated and been transparent with us. I have farmers insurance and this company is contracted with them, meaning that they can pick up roadside requests from Farmers insurance patrons. Initially the wait was 1 hour and 30 min., which we were fine to wait and blamed our insurance for the delay and their lack of contracts with nearby roadside support companies. At the 1 hour and 45 min. mark I called Sunshine Roadside Inc to inquire about the delay. They let me know that they were sorry and they were 15 min away. BUT, then 15 min go by and I get a notification saying that farmers was looking for a new company to help. Which means THEY CANCELLED THE SUPPORT EVEN AFTER THEY JUST TOLD ME THEY WERE 15 MIN. AWAY. I would've appreciated it if they would have just been transparent whenever they realized they couldn't make it to me so my insurance could have tried helping me find a new roadside assistance company sooner. Now I'm have to wait even longer for the new company to arrive. read more

Zero stars needs to be an option! I needed a simple jump start. I was given an up to 120 minute time frame. This is obviously terrible. But it only got worse--it took them 4 HOURS to come out! What type of roadside assistance is that?! I called the driver--he didn't answer. Texted him too. No answer. Never returned the Vm I left him. He arrived and was a complete jerk too. Definitely no apology or explanation. He was rolling his eyes and acting put out--to do his actual job! I let him perform the 5 mins of work he actually had to do--again, a simple jump start. And then I asked him what happened--he cut me off. Started talking over me and said I had to call the office. I asked why he never responded to my calls and text and he said I had to call the office...say what?? To explain why he didn't answer his phone?? Kick rocks. Don't even bother, look elsewhere. Transparency and communication matter when you're having car trouble. This company wants to pick and choose when they want to answer the phone. I called 8 times and was sent straight to a voicemail that wasn't set up. Do you realize how many opportunities you could have had to directly check in with me about my specific situation to see if it was within your scope to accept this request or even just give me an update? Y'all told me I'd have to wait two hours max. I waited three hours in the dark/cold for someone to finally show up....only to tell me that he can't help me. The service person was condescending, unapologetic, and unhelpful. I ended up having to leave my car overnight and was left fucking stranded in a town far from my home. I could have made proper accommodations earlier in the day had this company been straight up with me from the beginning or if they had answered the phone. Do not recommend. read more

Worst company ever. Must avoid at all costs. Very unprofessional. My wife had a tire blow out on the freeway and needed assistance to change the tire. This person was sketchy from the start. He showed up with a personal vehicle and did not know how to change a tire. When he "changed it" he did not even tighten the lug nuts correctly. The tire was shaking. When we called him back to fix it. He tried to get out of his responsability due to the fact that he did not want to get fired. He fled the scene and almost missing my wife and the car. Very dangerous. He also gave us fake numbers and names after the fact. Very unprofessional and dangerous. How does this person still works there or is affiated with a roadside service? read more

Had a flat tire, went through roadside service for Avis-Avis has been wonderful, was sent a text that wait time would be 90 minutes. Did not receive any updates, tried calling the company that the company and Yelp provide, numerous calls went directly to a voicemail that was not set up. I have not been able to reach them, neither have roadside service for Avis. I DO NOT recommend this company at all. I have been waiting now for 2 hours to get this taken care of. NEVER go through this tow company, Avis car rental has been great. read more

Absolutely the worst. I need a jump in LA. They told me 120 mn wait, which was already way too long, but I thought they meant within 120 mn, So I thought they would show up within 45mn to 1 hour which is acceptable... I ended up waiting 3 and half hours... In below 50 degres temperature. No light, not heat, nothing. For something that ended up taking 5 mn at the most. The first time I called it was to make sure that driver had the proper address. The guys was super dismissive. Like I bothered him. He says "Say you later..." and hangs up. I called after 2 hours and at first he ignored my call, then he answered but pretended that he couldn't hear me, which is absolute BS. the connection was fine, He could hear me just fine. I piece together that he was coming all the way from Asuza. I AM ON MELROSE IN LA!!! I call dispatch to ask how come they didn't have anybody closer. the lady doesn't even apologize for my wait. I have to admit that I am past being polite at that moment. I understand now that they only have one guy: Carlos.The last time I call him, he is a bit more apologetic, without really apologizing either. The guys eventually shows up in a Prius that was falling appart looked to be his own personal car. My insurance uses them for roadside. I am in the process of changing insurance right now. If you read that review on other website, it's because I am going to copy and paste it there. That's right, I am so mad, I'm actually going to waste my time doing that. read more
