Such a cute place. Must go for brunch/high tea vibe. The ladies there are sweet and helpful. The lemon crinkle is awesome and so pretty, it's a lightly lemon flavored pillowy sugar cookie sort of taste. The millionaire shortbread is practically a candy bar that melts in your mouth. The lemon tarts is lemony and so smooth. And that has got to be the smoothest cheesecake I've ever had! The chicken salad on croissant is about the size of a 6" sub, croissant is flaky and soft, chicken salad is a great balance of flavors, it exactly hit the spot. I will absolutely be a repeat customer. Next time, I'm gonna try the sourdough! read more

This was one of the most amazing little bakeries I've ever been to, my family, and I really enjoyed the food and the treats. Yes they have food not only baked goods. The salad I had was amazing with Mediterranean style and vinaigrette dressing. They also sell Sourdough goodies and bread. Something for every pallet. I would highly recommend this if you are in the neighborhood or if you wanna make a trip just to try this place out it is amazing. And while you're there, if you need a good Barber go next-door and get a haircut at Mt Zion barber shop. read more

Stopped in for breakfast and had the quiche. It was so fluffy it could have been a soufflé. Love their more traditional scones, which is great with a good cup of coffee or espresso drink(s), which they offer. Took a slice of carrot cake home. Planned on having just a couple of bites, but it was so good I ate the whole piece. And, since they take custom cake orders, I requestd a spice cake for a birthday get-together and it was the hit of the party. The cakes are just the right amount of sweet, so good it doesn't need any icing to enjoy it. With that said, the cream cheese icing was the perfect "cherry on top" (or should I say "icing on the cake"), not necessary, but yet what a treat. The cookies and millionaire shortbread (bars) were also a group favorite. During the week they have breakfast options (such as, but not limited to, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, overnight oats), and on the weekends made to order breakfasts as well. The service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning to try the other sweets and sandwiches, soup, and most importantly the pot pie. read more

I hate to give this place 2 stars because the women who waited on me were so nice! But alas, I must be honest... I went in about 3 days ago around 8 or 9am. I wanted some real baked goods, I'm sick of store bought stuff, I wanted to feel like I was at a real bakery similar to Mexico or France or Spain. I wanted to buy some freshly baked croissants, mainly. First I'll say they made an amazing decaf vanilla latte, and some places can't do decaf so I really appreciated that. Unfortunately the baked goods were what caused this experience to go left. I got a loaf of sourdough bread, which looked great. They advertised it was "homemade". That was confusing because this is a bakery, shouldn't everything be made in house or homemade?? I saw the baked goods selection and was immediately confused. All the croissants and scones and various other things looked just like the Sysco products I've seen at every other chain type place. They were definitely not made in house... it was really a let down. The croissant was the exact same chewy cold one you get at Starbucks but they didn't even offer to heat it. The chocolate croissant was really weird with strange chocolate icing on top. It was cold and chewy, not hot and crispy. I just didn't understand why a bakery would not make their own baked goods. Isn't that the point of going to a bakery? Everything I got (with the exception of the sourdough bread) was not good and didn't taste anything like a croissant or scone should taste. Very disappointing. I hope in the future they will make their own baked goods. I would love to have a place to get fresh bread and croissants. read more

What an absolutely perfect little place. Sunshine Kitchen is smack in the middle of the shopping center, I initially thought it was only a bakery but the owner Dara has a full menu from Breakfast to Lunch and everything is divine. I only have pictures of pastries and dessert but it was all delicious. I got the carrot cake, a pecan cobbler bar type of thing and the blueberry scone and omg. I gave the carrot cake to my friend and have regretted it ever since, she loved it and I loved everything I had!! Can't wait to go back. read more

It smells really good when you walk in, cute baked goods soon as you walk in. I really enjoyed the Quiche Lorraine, it was nice and spongy I don't like dry eggs lol. And the cinnamon roll was big and not overly sweet. I LOVE the soft texture and frosting on top. I'll definitely have to come back and try all the other treats. Small little place! Nicely decorated and few table and seats. The staff is friendly looks like a dad and son own and operate it. It's not your average bakery not too much to choose from some cookies and cupcakes, cheesecakes. Definitely give it a try if your in the area read more

Sunshine Kitchen Bakery is a brand new addition to Seabrook - how nice to have a true bakery in town! this shop is very small, but offers breakfast pastries, lunch sandwiches and cookies and other desserts. they also have an espresso machine so you can get your fix! we stopped by for breakfast and were glad to see they were busy. we had the breakfast sandwich - served on a freshly baked croissant, and assembled when ordered!, a sausage roll (not your typical texas kolache, more like a croissant dough with jimmy dean style ground sausage in the middle, and a cinnamon roll. all were great. i also saw a sign that they are accepting bread and roll orders for the holidays! they have a few small tables and chairs inside and out if you'd like to stay and enjoy your goodies. check them out! read more
