My teen was wanting to go at first, but got spooked and was trying to get out of there and leave before completing the intake. They wanted to draw a urine sample before actually checking my teen in, what the f*ck?? That is not normal. We did not complete the intake and even talked about the paperwork... I had to go to the bathroom and saw that the toilets had no sanitary seaters to put on the gross toilet seats which have not been cleaned yet. In fact, the whole place looked gross and not cleaned. The woman by the name of Morgan was really nice, but she was like a car sales person. She said that they will have to report to DCPS what my teen disclosed to them...for something that was not true either. I would not recommend this place after my teen told me that it seemed scary and that we did not get an offer to tour the facility. It was early in the morning too, but still kinda not feeling good about the vibe

Lastly when I submitted my insurance claim I was reimbursed for 80% making my visit only 24 dollars! Carrie runs a great professional practice and has the credentials and commitment to help you heal. We have even done EMDR work which has helped elevate a lot of the PTSD I have had from my injuries. Gratitude is what I feel when I think of therapy. I Highly recommend Carrie Malchowski.

I was very apprehensive about this place at first. I had a previous Dr office that I loved…read moretremendously but that wasn't covered under my ins. I was forced to find a new one that was covered due to some extenuating circumstances. I have to admit, I feel that Esther is a Godsend. Seriously, coming from another office can be a bit frightening as it comes to mental wellness. I mean, you spend time getting to know someone and suddenly you're having to share all over again. I am aware of their cancellation fee and it is true it is $65. One day, I was running behind and called them to see whether it would be best to cancel. The office staff advised me that it would be best to show up even if I were late, save myself the late cancellation fee. I know they text and call to remind me of upcoming appointments with enough time to cancel in a timely manner if I should need to do so. So, the fee? That's all on me, if I'm a no show. At first, I had a few frustrations. For instance, their need for a card on file (for the cancellation fees), at the time I started visiting here, I didn't have any cash at all and the thought of giving them my card really upset me. I got over it. The exercises and the support offered has been monumental in my care. Esther has done a wonderful job in assisting me in assisting myself. I have recommended this office to others based on my experience. My understanding is not all of the providers have openings and not all of them accept the same insurance. I have visited a great deal of counselors in my lifetime and I feel it's very important to find one that fits your needs. For me, this office does and I am willing to drive out of my way to continue my care here.

We had tried traditional 50-minute weekly couples therapy in the past, but it felt like we spent the first 20 minutes getting caught up and the last 10 wrapping up, without ever getting to the root of our issues. We needed real help, fast. We found Michelle Shahbazyan and booked an intensive couples coaching session (her extended deep-dive session). It was hands down the best investment we have ever made in our relationship. I had seen her for some personal work many years ago and was so glad to have connected with her again for this new issue. Instead of just sitting back and taking notes, Michelle is direct, empathetic, and extremely solution-focused. Having that uninterrupted block of time during the intensive allowed us to finally tear down the communication walls, stop the endless cycle of arguing, and figure out what was actually going wrong in our marriage. If you are searching for a marriage coach or relationship counselor who actually gives you real-life, actionable tools rather than just generic advice, call Michelle. She completely shifted our perspective and gave us a clear path forward. We left our session feeling lighter, reconnected, and hopeful for the first time in years. Highly recommend her to any couple needing a true breakthrough!

I contacted Michelle and she said that my wife is very guarded about her issues and the likelihood is that she doesn't want to work on herself. Michelle was correct. In hindsight I regret we agreed to such a long initial session. I think we should have limited our initial session to an hour or two. It could have flushed out my wife's lack of willingness and commitment to counseling and saved us an enormous amount of money with no positive result.
