Nurse Practitioner Melissa Brown is so nice. I went out of my way to go to the Queen Creek location…read morebecause I did my research and she seemed like the best fit. I'm so glad I did. Melissa actually took the time to listen, review everything and was sympathetic and compassionate. She was thorough and explained things in detail. I appreciated that Melissa knew about certain health issues and how one affects another which is something that doctors I've been to in the past didn't seem to know nor explain. I was extremely impressed. I went for my annual exam and she made sure I had a full blood workup, physical exam and urinalysis. The office called with my results and followed up with sending prescriptions right away. The office staff is very efficient and easy to deal with as well. The medical assistant was also really nice and it was painless when she took my blood. I didn't have to wait at all and was overall impressed with Paper Cranes. Highly recommend.

I set up an appointment and confirmed that they had a repeating time and day because I needed stability and consistency. The receptionist told me they did and to confirm with my therapist at my appointment for that continuing day and time. I had my intake and at the end the therapist and I talked about other time options but I confirmed my original time and day worked perfect. She told me to let them know if I needed to change. I showed up today and was told I didn't have an appointment. First it was a story that I told the receptionist personally that I wasn't sure if that day/time wouldn't work and I would get back to her. I confirmed that I never spoke to her in person or say that. She got an attitude, claimed she confused me with someone else and then made up another story about how the therapist just that morning, a week later, mentioned that I wasn't coming because I walked out the previous week without confirming my appointment. None of this was true. I was sad, overwhelmed and frustrated. Through tears I told her it was hard enough for me to make the appointment and that I was upset that I've been really struggling and their miscommunication really affected me. I really needed support. The receptionist got very angry telling me that I wasn't the only one with problems and kept repeating loudly to check my attitude until I walked out in full tears and embarrassment.

I was forced to find a new one that was covered due to some extenuating circumstances. I have to admit, I feel that Esther is a Godsend. Seriously, coming from another office can be a bit frightening as it comes to mental wellness. I mean, you spend time getting to know someone and suddenly you're having to share all over again. I am aware of their cancellation fee and it is true it is $65. One day, I was running behind and called them to see whether it would be best to cancel. The office staff advised me that it would be best to show up even if I were late, save myself the late cancellation fee. I know they text and call to remind me of upcoming appointments with enough time to cancel in a timely manner if I should need to do so. So, the fee? That's all on me, if I'm a no show. At first, I had a few frustrations. For instance, their need for a card on file (for the cancellation fees), at the time I started visiting here, I didn't have any cash at all and the thought of giving them my card really upset me. I got over it. The exercises and the support offered has been monumental in my care. Esther has done a wonderful job in assisting me in assisting myself. I have recommended this office to others based on my experience. My understanding is not all of the providers have openings and not all of them accept the same insurance. I have visited a great deal of counselors in my lifetime and I feel it's very important to find one that fits your needs. For me, this office does and I am willing to drive out of my way to continue my care here.

I asked for her to be apart of the CFT, cause of my sons high behaviors, only for $150 out of pocket, no insurance. We had tried traditional 50-minute weekly couples therapy in the past, but it felt like we spent the first 20 minutes getting caught up and the last 10 wrapping up, without ever getting to the root of our issues. We needed real help, fast. We found Michelle Shahbazyan and booked an intensive couples coaching session (her extended deep-dive session). It was hands down the best investment we have ever made in our relationship. I had seen her for some personal work many years ago and was so glad to have connected with her again for this new issue. Instead of just sitting back and taking notes, Michelle is direct, empathetic, and extremely solution-focused. Having that uninterrupted block of time during the intensive allowed us to finally tear down the communication walls, stop the endless cycle of arguing, and figure out what was actually going wrong in our marriage. If you are searching for a marriage coach or relationship counselor who actually gives you real-life, actionable tools rather than just generic advice, call Michelle. She completely shifted our perspective and gave us a clear path forward. We left our session feeling lighter, reconnected, and hopeful for the first time in years. Highly recommend her to any couple needing a true breakthrough!

I contacted Michelle and she said that my wife is very guarded about her issues and the likelihood is that she doesn't want to work on herself. Michelle was correct. In hindsight I regret we agreed to such a long initial session. I think we should have limited our initial session to an hour or two. It could have flushed out my wife's lack of willingness and commitment to counseling and saved us an enormous amount of money with no positive result.

I was losing myself and my way, just barely able to try and meet everyone else's needs, completely unaware of my own. I didn't want to fade away, but I knew for my heart and mind to engage I would need a good therapist. I read Carol's profile, and immediately knew she was the one. Her approach took into consideration sensitive people. In life I have been misunderstood by many. I was so often referred to as "sensitive". I tried to push this aspect of my personality, the deep feeling and thinking, down until I could just communicate on the surface. Looking back over the last 10 months I realize that Carol has respectfully guided me to a place where I can honor who I am and find a way to live in harmony with others in my life. It's a tricky balance, and I'm still working on it, but I have made progress. She has managed to provide insights that I had not seen on my own, because she listens and I believe truly cares about those she sees. I will forever be grateful for Carol, as she had had a profoundly positive effect on my life.

I had never used a life coach before but I needed coaching to keep me focused during a challenging and uncertain time. All he did is ask my son if he wanted to go back to school to find a new path. My son has a degree in engineering - he did not need to go back to school. John milked these appointments to bill - PERIOD. He knew what was expected, booked and billed me for 8 appointments and NEVER saw a resume. Might as well have burned $1840.00
