now im reaching out to la frontera seeking some needed answers to a couple of legitimate issues…read morethat need to be addressed so tell me who do i turn to herein this entity if i was promised a seasoned case manager who has knowledge & experiance dealing with veterans suffering from ptsd as well as understanding what it does to a person being unlawfully made homeless , forced to walk everywhere after the authorities herein pinal co unlawfully destroyed my popup trailer packded with everything i owned ,then strong armed my vehicle from my fiance claiming i abandoned it when it wasnt ,then fraudulently citing me for an abandoned vevicle on my mvd record causing me extreme anxiety & other undue mental issues that i was made to believe la frontera had the trained personal who would take the time & effort to actually help resolve the issues causing me to not want to stay clean now im even more frustrated unable to file legal paperwork seeking relief from the ongoing manifest injustice that has been unfairly imposed against me so why cant la frontera do anything to help

Counseling is very difficult to get right. Some counselors are too soft - others too hard/aloof…read more Some just want to chat with you while others want to do exercises. Troy Stone is one of the better counselors I've been to. He is honest, calls you on your BS, relatable, and has plenty of examples. He will chat about your day-to-day stuff but he always pulls it back to - what is your goal and what is the science behind it (love language, attachment theory, trauma, etc.). Other MFT counselors I've gone to barely touch on such subjects which greatly hinders long term fixes - to fix what is wrong today you must understand where you came from. If you simply talk about what pissed you off last week and never touch on why or what happened to you in the past that predisposed you to those emotions... then you're just spinning your wheels.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Lighthouse, particularly with how my concerns…read moreregarding a psychiatric medication were handled. For over two weeks, I repeatedly tried to get a clear answer about whether I could receive a short bridge prescription to get me to an upcoming appointment with a new provider. When it became clear a refill might not be possible, I specifically asked for guidance on how to safely stop the medication. That guidance was never provided. Being left without direction regarding mental health treatment is unacceptable. I chose to leave this practice because I did not feel listened to by Dr. Westbrock. Diagnoses were mentioned without explanation, alternative causes were not meaningfully explored, and my concerns were largely dismissed. When I asked about further evaluation, I was told it would require several additional appointments and approximately $800 in fees, after already paying for the visit I was attending. The process felt more focused on billing than patient care. After securing a new provider, I contacted Lighthouse weeks in advance because I knew I would run out of medication before that appointment. I made it clear that I understood if a refill was not possible and that I was simply asking for guidance. Despite multiple attempts, my requested were ignored by Dr. Westbrock. Even after being told by the medical assistants this bridge refill should have been possible. Lighthouse medical assistants have reached out and apologized on behalf of the team. They stated the issue was with Dr. Westbrock and said that if I wanted a bridge now, three weeks later, they could forward me to the director. I appreciate the medical assistants who attempted to help every time I called. However, this situation should have been escalated to leadership much earlier, and at the end of the day Dr. Westbrock is employed by this office and his actions reflect the office. Overall, this experience left me feeling dismissed and unsupported at a critical moment in my care. The only reason I chose 2 stars instead of 1 was the medical assistants consistently trying their best. It is disappointing they are not listened to by their superiors. I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision when choosing providers.

You have to leave a message and hope they will call you back. And then if it doesn't suit them they will tell you they never got your message. In addition, I would think after your third or fourth visit, your doctor would know your name and not have to ask you what your name is at the end of the visit so he can call in your prescription! Extremely unprofessional and unethical business
