Serious Safety, Neglect, and Accessibility Violations - Please Read if Your Child Has Special Needs…read more I am writing this review to warn other parents about our extremely disturbing experience at Action Behavior Centers. My son was one of the first children enrolled when this location opened. From the very beginning, I clearly explained that my son has a physical disability that affects his ability to walk, stand, run, and jump without pain. Before enrollment, staff assured me they would accommodate him, assist him when needed, and allow him to use a push bike so he could move safely throughout the clinic. Because my son learns quickly, understands what the tests are for, knows what answers staff are looking for, and enjoys helping, he was frequently used for staff training purposes, making proper supervision and consistency even more important. Within the first month of my son attending this clinic, I was informed that a staff member brought a gun into the building. Police were called, and the team member was terminated. This alone raised serious safety concerns. Shortly after enrollment, everything changed. They suddenly refused to help him walk, stand, or use the restroom, and took away his push bike, even though this is a small clinic with narrow hallways. My son was forced to walk and stand while in pain, and he would come home crying. My son was also bullied daily by another child. He was pushed, hit, and physically harmed repeatedly, and staff denied every incident. He came home with bruises and scratches, yet I was repeatedly told that "nothing happened." The most serious incident occurred when my son told me the same child attacked him in the restroom. There is supposed to be assigned staff supervision during bathroom use, but this clearly did not happen. This is a serious safety violation. I provided all of my son's personal items snacks, diapers, milk, cups, and his personal sleeping bag yet the clinic lost multiple belongings, including his sleeping bag. At one point, another child was sent home with my son's water cup. When I questioned the office staff, I was incorrectly told that the cup did not belong to my son. Later, during pickup, the other child waved my son's cup at us and smiled while my son was crying, confirming it was my son's personal cup. I had multiple meetings with BCBAs, the director, and clinic staff, and every concern I raised was denied or dismissed. When I made the decision to withdraw my son for his safety, staff repeatedly tried to convince me to keep him enrolled and suggested shortening his hours instead. Given everything that had already occurred, it truly felt like this was solely to continue receiving payment for his enrollment, rather than prioritizing my son's well-being. Earlier in his enrollment, a staff member had encouraged parents to contact state agencies because the clinic was at risk of losing funding. I did so in an effort to help the clinic -- this was not related to my son's care, and occurred before the later safety and neglect issues. Even after I immediately withdrew my son, the clinic repeatedly called me almost every other day for an entire year. This continued contact felt unnecessary and harassing, adding to the emotional stress we had already experienced. Due to repeated neglect, safety failures, and emotional harm, I was forced to immediately withdraw my son. The trauma my son experienced here is not okay, and he still talks about it today. If your child has medical needs, mobility limitations, or is vulnerable, please be extremely cautious. I would never trust this company again.

I've been seeing Carol for 10 months now. I decided to seek counseling because my sister noticed…read morehow depleted my "light" was when she looked in my eyes. I was losing myself and my way, just barely able to try and meet everyone else's needs, completely unaware of my own. I didn't want to fade away, but I knew for my heart and mind to engage I would need a good therapist. I read Carol's profile, and immediately knew she was the one. Her approach took into consideration sensitive people. In life I have been misunderstood by many. I was so often referred to as "sensitive". I tried to push this aspect of my personality, the deep feeling and thinking, down until I could just communicate on the surface. Looking back over the last 10 months I realize that Carol has respectfully guided me to a place where I can honor who I am and find a way to live in harmony with others in my life. It's a tricky balance, and I'm still working on it, but I have made progress. She has managed to provide insights that I had not seen on my own, because she listens and I believe truly cares about those she sees. I will forever be grateful for Carol, as she had had a profoundly positive effect on my life.
