I called to get a quote on getting some tint on my car, the guy that answered the phone, when I let him know I wanted a quote and if they had any specials, repeated the word "specials" sounded like he became offended and preceded to tell me they're specials were the quality of there products and they're guarantees, which I don't doubt, they're all great, however, he knew exactly what I was asking and a simply no or yes would have sufficed. Making someone feel stupid for asking a question doesn't deserve the business, needless to say I will not be giving them my business nor will I be recommending this establishment to any of my family or friends.. I would give this business 5 stars, but I am waiting for some time to go by, and I'll come back to update after seeing how well the tint job they did holds up. The 4 stars I'm awarding right off the bat for their professionalism, knowledge of what they do, friendliness, quickness, and fabulous hospitality, and customer service! We stopped by Sunshades today to have the 2 front windows tinted on my new vehicle. My husband, and 3 kids were all with me. This place is a little simple shop, but they have a waiting area stocked with complimentary drinks, WiFi, and a couch to comfortably sit on. The lady that helped us was very nice, and another employee was very informative when I had a question about the quality of the tint we had chosen. During our wait, an older man walked into the shop with a lit cigarette in his hand. My son and I have allergy, and asthma issues, so I feared the worst when I saw that. Keep in mind, the shop did NOT smell like smoke, so I was baffled when he walked in. He was speaking to the nice lady, and perhaps only a minute went by when she said, "let's talk outside so you can finish your cigarette." I applaud that woman for being so clever!! It was the right way to redirect him while being conscious of us, and the man. After he left, she walked back inside, and apologized for the ordeal. No apology needed. She handled it like a pro! The entire wait took about 30 minutes, and just before we left, their beautiful shop mascot walked in to bid us farewell! A big bull mastiff that was a gentle giant! Even HE was nice! ;-) read more

I got my SUV tinted a couple months ago. They offered different types of tint based on quality and visible light transmission. I sent a Yelp message for options and pricing information. I received basic information in return. I called the next day to follow up and ask more in-depth questions and I was met with a rude comment. It sounded like he was too busy to answer my questions and wanted me to come visit the store instead. I stopped by the store and wanted to see examples of the tint. I was shown my options and decided to get all my windows tinted and a clear tint on the windshield to block out some of this Texas heat. I dropped it off at 8 am and it was ready at 3 pm. I'm not a fan that they placed their "sunshades" branding sticker between my tint on the driver window, so I can't remove it. Overall, the tint is fine and should last the entire time I keep the SUV. The price fit what I was looking to spend and they offered a military discount at checkout. read more

Roger H. - called to get pricing and schedule an appointment. They were able to schedule me the next day. Explained the different price points for window tinting and the reason why. Took my truck back to install the tinting as soon as I got there. Staff was great to work with. Very friendly, informative and pays attention to detail. I scheduled an appointment here on a Monday afternoon to get my windows tinted the following Saturday at 9:00 am. I told them that I would not be able to drop it off because I had obligations for that afternoon, and needed the car. They said it wouldn't be a problem and that I would have the car by Noon. I got a call Friday afternoon to conform my appointment. When I said that I would be up there at 9, she told me that someone else had paid, (after I made my appointment) and that they would take priority over my appointment. She proceeded to argue with me when I told her to cancel, because "I was told this could happen".... ...What's the point of making an appointment, if someone can trump your appointment by paying in advance? If I was told this, I would have just paid when I made the appointment on Monday. Thanks for wasting my time. As said before, they clearly don't know how to run a business. read more
