We recently purchased a townhouse in Cannon Falls that needed new screens and frames so I brought a…read moresample screen with the instructions taped to it, to their Cannon Falls pick up site. The cost was nearly $100 each, which was fine except that some of mitered cuts had saw cut gashes and metal burrs exposed. One of the screens had a couple minor rips. All of that was minor compared to the fit. The new widows were actually a tighter fit than the original. I was only able to install one from the inside, but in so doing, I actual pulled off one of the pulling tabs. I had to install the others from the outside where I could use a putty knife to wedge them into place. My verbal instructions via the phone were that these were not a rush as we do not live there permanently. Why the shabby workmanship is beyond me.

Exceptional service, outstanding workmanship, and genuinely wonderful people. I can't say enough…read moregood things about Falk Auto Body and Glass in Red Wing. From the moment I walked in to the moment I drove away, everyone treated me with genuine kindness and professionalism. They replaced my driver's side mirror and it looks brand new. But what really stayed with me was the people. One of the co-owners personally drove me home while they worked on it and picked me up when it was ready. That kind of thoughtfulness and care really meant a lot. Every single person I talked to treated me with respect. And the price, it was just less than half of what my insurance deductible would've been. That kind of integrity is rare. They've earned my trust and I'm recommending them to anyone who needs the work. Five stars without hesitation.

After waiting all week for someone to come replace our windshield, the guy shows up early and tells…read moreme they can't do the work because our garage is too cold. They work in MN, they should be prepared for this kind of weather! So they refused to fix it. They told me they would come back on Monday to do it instead. I called the office and the lady I spoke with told me they wouldn't make it on Monday and they have to do it on Tuesday. I said that they are inconveniencing me and they should be prepared for this. She said she would put me down for Monday morning and that was a lie. She ended up scheduling me for Tuesday anyway. Not a very trusting place to work with. They should have portable heaters for this time of year. Worst experience and the lady was rude.

They replaced the window, gave us free glass cleaner, AND they vacuumed the broken glass out of the interior of her car for her. This company goes above and beyond. Jay attempted to install our glass shower door this March. Unfortunately, during his effort, he…read morechipped the top part of the glass and failed to tighten the screws adequately, which resulted in the door needing continual adjustment. The door also did not seal properly with the bottom of the shower and leaked excessively. Sadly, the shower curtain we used from the dollar store in the interim worked better than the substandard work of Jay from Ryan and Gordy's. Over the past six months, we received two promises that the necessary parts were on order, one visit that resulted in a commitment to order more parts, and two no-call no, no-show appointments. We found these guys through our contractor, and we foolishly paid them before they completed the repairs, believing they would stand by the work. They did not. Although their scores are reasonably high overall, please read the reviews carefully as they have many weak scores, most of which revolve around shower door installation. I suspect Jay's brand of substandard effort is commonplace at this company. I cannot caution people enough to avoid these guys--they simply provide terrible service.

Took the "manager" almost 5 hours to do my vehicle even dropped off early. called around 430 to see…read morewhat was going on with my vehicle got an excuse about how the tech had to redo a few windows a couple of times. ok fine I understand. would have been great to get a phone call saying that it's taking a little longer than expected. 1st red flag. was told to show up between 430 and 5pm. showed around 5 he still wasn't finished. went inside to talk to the receptionist didn't get a sorry they were acting kind of weird to be honest, like something happened. 2nd red flag. the tech finally pulled my car around. At the time I did know he was the "manager" I went outside to look at it all but the windshield had some scratches on it. Mind you I worked at a competitors shop with wraps window tinting ceramic coating you name it. I was a quality control/ product ordering manager for them. So I know what "cut" windows from tinting looks like. I went back inside still no apologies for how long it was taking nothing. the receptionist asked if everything was ok I told him what I saw a lady that was at the desk with him got up and went to get the manager. he came to the front and asked what was wrong I told him. We went out side I showed him the scratches. he said the only reason they were visible now was because of how dark the tint is. Turned around and went back inside. still no acknowledgment about how long it took or anything. I then talked to the receptionist again. He asked me if the manager took care of everything. I told him no said that nothing was wrong and it was because of the how dark the tint was. At this point the manager didn't introduce himself to a new customer acted like had done nothing wrong and look like he was more irritated about what has happened instead of taking care of the customer Mind you still no apology. I paid for a job that was half a$$3d and by the manager no less. I then left not satisfied with the work more irritated than anything. Kinda explains what took soon long with the tint. It shouldn't take but a couple of hours to do the job and by a "manager" probably less time. I'm wondering if he was trying to fix his screw up in the time. Got a text a day later asking to leave a comment about my service. Did so it was negative of course. Later that day I got another text from someone named sunny. Told them what had happened they asked if I could take pictures of the windows in doing so I had noticed now my rear passenger headrest was sitting kind of funny went to go adjust it and put it back down in doing so it came off the posts. Im now line wtf seriously not only had this guy cut up my windows he destroyed the head rest also. Before they say oh that was done previously no It actually wasnt. No body rides in the back I have no reason to move the head rest at all. Sent pictures told sunny about this crickets now they were so quick to try to help and now I was ghosted. Its Wednesday now when sunny was texting me. Gave them till Monday the 27th still no word so I texted sunny back Tuesday the 28th still nothin. So frustrated about this not on am I out 5 very expensive windows now I have to order the headrest from Germany that going to cost 500+ shipping and taxes. Thanks suncontrol first and last time going there.
