While I had excellent work done here a few years ago, more recently I called about getting another detailing - and called, and called (three times). He never called back. I went in person on two occasions; the office doors were unlocked, I went in, shouted to see if anyone was there, no answer. I just called a week ago and didn't hear anything back. I have no idea what's going on and am wondering whether he's even talking clients, but not responding to phone messages with such consistency makes me think the business is really messed up and should be avoided. I purchased a Groupon for car detailing and was very excited based on reviews. I contacted the company 6 times over the course of a month leaving multiple voice mails with asking to schedule and leaving my callback number as well as two emails. Never heard a single thing. Ultimately had to dispute the change with my bank for services not rendered. Very disappointed overall. It's not that hard to have some level of customer service... Would not recommend. read more

I got a Groupon to buff out my old headlight cover. The other headlight was brand new so I wanted both of them to match. The dealership told me they could get a brand new one for $500. I thought that sounded ridiculous so I ended up coming to Max shine detailing.the guys did an amazing job and it looks brand new! I might go back and get my car detailed buy them. I used my Groupon coupon, and figured I REALLY don't want to clean my car after moving and a bag of litter broke in my back seat. I expected it to be cleaned BUT I DIDN'T EXPECT PRISTINE! It looked better than when I bought it 2 years ago! They were friendly, fast, polite and the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. Afterwards they walked with me to my car to point out the details of what I had concerns with, and how they were all resolved. You wonder why I drove from Chanhassen to Northfield for detailing? Well, that is the reason...now keep in mind, when you make an appointment do it far in advance! They are sometimes booked out 45 days ahead! So, I'm not the only one who loves their work...they are worth the trip! read more

Very disappointed and frustrated. This was my first time getting a vehicle detailed. I decided to treat myself for once and spend the money. I wish i would've saved my money and paid my 6 and 11 year olds to clean my car. They would've done a better job. My car was not remotely dirty. When i picked it up certain circumstances in the office made it very inconvenient picking up. But things happen and i understand that. But the main reason im so upset is that my semi dirty car was hardly cleaned. Floor mats were not touched. Cup holders not touched. My seats were half assed clean. Ive learned my lesson, because of this experience i will not ever pay anyone to detail my car. The owner knew of my concerns and did not try to fix the problem. read more

Used a Groupon to try these guys out - FANTASTIC job! My car looks absolutely stunning, they really went above and beyond to make sure it was just right. I was very impressed at how they sent 3 guys to work on my car and got it done in a very timely matter. They got discoloration off the wheel rims, and buffed out a LOT of fine swirl marks to make the black paint look stunning. The interior looks super clean but I love that they don't use smelly cleaning products as I get migraines from artificial scents - the car smells fresh and clean but not strongly of cleaning products. I will be recommending these guys to everyone! read more
