Room has decent toiletries, hair dryer, robes, slippers, fridge, coffee maker. Several restaurants on site, Starbucks coffee, little market, etc. They also have their own fire pits. 4+ stars * Location: accross from the beach... so it is not quite ocean front although they do have non-obstructive view of the beach and Hungtington pier. It is a bit walk to Pacific City shopping. 4+ stars. * Motif: nice and wellkept grounds. Room is clean, basic decor. 4 stars for the overall, 2 stars for room noise! * Service: valet staff is friendly. Front desk is so so. Housekeeping staff is nice and friendly. 3 stars. Averaged to 4 stars. We are loyal Hyatt customers, explorist status on Hyatt membership. But we usually stayed at the Hilton (for better view). We booked 3 night ocean front room for a staycation directly via World of Hyatt. We got the farthest room of the resort. The bell desk delivered our luggage before we got there since it is quite a walk... so, if you have any issues with walking, might ask to have room closer to front desk. The guest room is decent size suite, clean, nothing special with sofa, desk. The balcony is good size. The goods: - they have a bridge to cross over to the beach where you can pick up beach chairs, towels, umbrella etc. They do have beach service to set up chairs and umbrella for $25 from 8 Am to 5 PM. - many pools - beautiful resort grounds - there are many restaurants, market, Starbucks coffee shop... so you do not need to leave the resort. The bads: - noise, noise and noise. It is so closed to PCH that the noise is unbearable especially for the ocean front room. They have earplugs for you... but really who wants to wear ear plugs all day?! - parking: no self park option. - our room has the parking view... hardly ocean front. For over $1000 per night, it is a rip off! I will definitely do not recommend ocean front room at this resort! Overall, it is ok stay for us but hardly relaxing.

We also enjoyed lunch, including a gourmet pepperoni pizza that was absolutely delicious. The bartender was incredibly friendly and made some of the best drinks. That evening, we unfortunately couldn't dine on the rooftop because it was reserved for an event, and only standing room was available. Instead, we sat at the bar and enjoyed the shrimp and tacos, which were both amazing. We also had great conversations with some very fun people. You have to try the bartender's famous Abuelita Horchata cocktail, a delicious mix of chocolate and a dash of cinnamon. It was absolutely incredible! We'll definitely be coming back to enjoy the rooftop restaurant next time we'll check there is no event going on!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They do have complementary dog beds that are huge and comfortable, they also have pack N plays for your little ones and also offer microwaves upon request. The other with a regular pool and different activities for the whole family to play with (ping pong table, giant chess, giant connect four) we only went to the one with the slide and our kids (ages 2- 10) loved it! We went closer to sundown but the water was warm so it felt nice. They have staff at almost all entrances checking for your wrist band to make sure you're staying there. There's access to the beach from both pools. It's a short walk to the crosswalk and you're there! They also have complementary wagons, beach chairs and you can take the towels with you and just return them when you get back! Makes it so easy to go! They do have a bar at the pool with the slides, we loved everything we got. My pool wrist band ended up getting too tight so I went to the front desk and they cut it off for me and gave me a new one. Again they were super friendly about that and even asked if we needed more water or anything. The cleanliness of the resort was top tier. It was walking distance from restaurants and the pier so we all had a lovely overall experience. Will definitely be back!

The staff seem over-worked and underpaid so I don't blame them at all, this place needs new management. The one star is for the bartender because he had the best customer service there.

From the moment you arrive, you can tell customer service is a top priority. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. A special shout-out to Clay at the front desk! This is the second time he's checked my family and me in, and he is absolutely one of the reasons we keep coming back. He always has the biggest smile, a positive attitude, and goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He truly makes you feel like a valued guest instead of just another reservation. Hospitality like his is hard to find these days, and it deserves to be recognized. Yes, we jokingly spent a couple thousand dollars on a one-night stay , but honestly, it was worth every penny because of the experience. The beautiful property, the incredible service, and the way the staff treats you make it feel like a true luxury getaway. Thank you, Clay, and thank you to the entire Pasea team for another amazing stay. We can't wait to come back again!

We had a very disappointing experience at Paséa , and unfortunately, we would not stay here again…read more Our scheduled check-in time was 4:00 PM, but our room was not ready. We waited approximately 40 minutes before we were finally able to get into our room. The hotel initially offered us a $50 credit, and after the continued delay, increased it to $100, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. When we finally entered our room, we discovered visible stains on the bedsheets. After waiting 40 minutes just to get into the room, it was extremely disappointing to find that the room had not been properly prepared. We contacted housekeeping and had the sheets replaced. We did not want to change rooms because we had already spent so much time waiting and did not want to go through the entire process again. Then came the most concerning issue. At checkout, we reviewed our folio and discovered a $118.74 charge from Lorea, the hotel's restaurant. We never visited Lorea and never made this purchase. The charge had been posted to our room even though it was not our bill. We had to wait another approximately 40 minutes at checkout while the hotel investigated and confirmed to waived the charge. So during this stay, we spent approximately 80 minutes of our valuable vacation time waiting because of problems caused by the hotel -- 40 minutes waiting for our room at check-in and another 40 minutes dealing with an incorrect restaurant charge at checkout. The location is beautiful, but unfortunately, the service and overall experience did not meet the standard we expected. We left feeling that we spent far too much of our vacation time dealing with problems that should never have happened in the first place. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience.

We had a birthday thing to get to so then telling us sorry we had a busy weekend and nothing else and to say it so non carelessly as it's not really that big of a deal is what blew my mind. Then we get into our room and the ac unit is extremely loud with all buttons basically wiped off so you have no clue what you're doing. After we got back in the evening I proceed to get into the bed and the bed collapses! We had to lift the mattress up to find out the bed deal is being held up with a piece of wood! We could not sleep well after that on top of the ac being extremely loud which needed to be turned off since we couldn't sleep and then for it to now be hot. The bathroom has no ventilation so it's extremely hot as well as the shower doors not functioning on one side at all. This was not a good stay what so ever and then when telling them about the bed at check out, again no care what so ever she goes to say oh sorry, that's it, nothing else. Like a bed collapsing is every day business. I highly recommend staying elsewhere especially because one night was not cheap for what you have to deal with.

While we were in the room, my allergies became terrible, my face started swelling, and I was coughing, sneezing, and dealing with a runny nose. We couldn't stay in that room. When we asked to change rooms, the staff were rude and unwilling to help. It was incredibly disappointing to have our rare getaway turn into such a stressful experience.
