We have been loving our stay! It's so conveniently next to so many good food spots that you could walk to & the beach is right down the road. I would definitely come back here! Staff is super friendly & let's you enjoy your stay unbothered the bed is super comfy as well and can't believe how affordable it is.

    Inside clean!

This 30 room boutique Hotel was a delight. It's right on Pacific Coast Highway (you have to navigate through some one-way streets) and walking distance to a few places. I like the personal service with Sean. Such a pleasant and personable guy. I called to see if I could check in early and he was very accommodating. It was nice to have personal service. It was so refreshing to park right by the back door to the hotel and no parking fee! The room was very clean and the bed was a little too soft for me, but my sister said her bed was fine. They had a few items for a continental breakfast, but there are many restaurants within a mile. We got a room on the opposite side of PHC and did not hear any noise from the highway. I would definitely stay there again.

Cute little place only has 30 rooms and I had the best room. It was like a King Suite with Jacuzzi and the only room with a balcony view of the ocean with no houses blocking the view. The room was decent. The floors were dirty, the jacuzzi wasn't cleaned out, and there were homeless in the parking garage which me uncomfortable. The place was decently centrally located from all the places I wanted to visit which was great. 20miles outside of Los Angeles. And the breakfast was great, even though it wasn't self serve.

Absolutely THE best little hotel I've stayed at in recent memory! Took a little family vacation before our daughter went to school. The location is only a street away from the beach and a distance away from major surf communities so traffic wasn't awful. Once we got here, Shawn was quick to check us in and give us some pointers about parking (see my tip). Our room was super cute and very beachy. Basic hotel toiletries were available. Room was VERY clean! Room was quiet, roof top patio was charming and in between cars cruising the main street, you could hear the waves crashing. There is a continental breakfast available (cereal cups, fruit, yogurt, pancakes). There's even beach supplies for guests to use - donated by prior guests. Afternoons, parking is nutty as people park behind the hotel for the beach. There's a few parking spots under the hotel for hotel guests, but it's minimal and extremely tight. Absolutely love this hotel and WILL return!

Love staying her Sean/ Shawn ( owner) is so accommodating in all aspects. Rooms are simply decorated with a beach vibe!! There is a roof top lounge area and he also offers a continental breakfast for his guest. Steps away from the beach.. easy access to the beach and other places to dine or have drinks !!

BEYOND FILTHY. Not sure how reviews say this location is clean after my stay. See photos. Hair on the floor and in the shower. Stained bedding. Dirty drapes. Filthy furniture. Loud air vent that was very dirty. Toilet was dirty. Really felt uncomfortable regarding the level of unsanitary items.... From the bathroom to the bedding this place was DISGUSTING. Glad it was just a short over night trip so didn't need the room long. Would never return! ALARMINGLY GROSS.

A cute inn close to the beach. It's quiet from the room despite being right off PCH. Free parking in garage plus overflow parking all behind the building. There was a little bit of sand in our bed at check in like it got washed with sandy towels or something. The floor was super sandy too even after they cleaned our room the first night. Overall would stay again.

This is an awesome little place to stay.... A 100' from the beach, beautiful views of the ocean and the city. And probably the nicest most accommodating Hotel manager you'll ever meet. We had very tricky Scheduling due to arriving back from a cruise, He was very accommodating and getting us into a room early so we could enjoy the rest of our trip... Highly recommend this place, they even include the beach towels and beach toys that you Can borrow.... Can't wait to go down and see them againOne recommendation, wear sunscreen

Love this hotel!!! As we are still not allowed back into our residence due to a construction incident that left our unit heavily damaged with no power, we've been staying in hotels for a few days. Needing a room for the night I called this Inn and was in contact with Ralph. Ralph was awesome and helped us get the best room so far during this difficult time. Our room was AWESOME!!! The room was Clean and and the bed was comfortable, the view was outstanding, and when we went for a walk to get dinner we didn't have to cross PCH which can be dangerous sometimes. Our suite had a jacuzzi in it which helped our stressed out bodies. The shower had great water pressure and plenty hot water. This hotel has a awesome rooftop lounge that has the best views!! The hotel provided a free grab and go breakfast that had muffins, coffee, cereals etc. it was much appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay here. Many thanks to Ralph for being awesome person and helping us through this trying time. Today we find out if our place passed inspection and we'll be allowed back in. If we don't get let in we'll be back!! Thank you Ralph.

I was so happy to find Ocean Surf Inn & Suites for a recent trip to southern California. I grew up in California and spent 20 years living in the Huntington Beach area. Going to the beach was part of our life. Moving to Arizona 13 years ago means when we come home to visit, I would at least like to try and get my feet into the ocean. It doesn't always happen, but we try. Most of the time the reason this doesn't happen is that it's getting nearly impossible to find parking down by the beach. I know, I've spent way too many precious minutes looking for a place to park, just so I could spend what was left of those minutes running down to the water. I've done that too. So if we were going to spend two whole days visiting family, I wanted a hotel that did two things: Put me on the beachside of Pacific Coast Highway and Didn't cost a small fortune. Ocean Surf Inn & Suites checked both boxes. We had an ocean-facing room, which meant a peek-a-boo view between the mansions facing the beach, but that was it. The only thing standing between me and the ocean, besides the mansions, was the free but good luck finding a spot parking. The room was big, with room on both sides of the bed so one person isn't having to crawl off the foot of the bed to get out of bed. That's the worst. There was ample 'counter' space in the room for purses, wallets, shopping bags, whatever with a table and two chairs, a desk with a chair, and a nice piece of furniture under the flat-screen TV housing the mini-fridge and microwave. The bathroom was big and it had a fan. It seems like every hotel bathroom should have a fan, but they don't. So when there is one, I make a note of it. I liked the sink with the high faucet too, since we're going to be filling a coffee pot, it makes sense to have a faucet the coffee pot fits under. Breaking a coffee pot in a hotel sink first thing in the morning is not the way to start a day. Trust me. Parking is tight, so please be mindful of other guests who are there for the same reason you are - so you have a parking place close to the beach. (And we all paid for a parking space too.) Checking in is a bit old school. There's a window near the front doors with an old school phone. You pick it up to let them know you're there and someone comes to let you in. This makes sense to me since it's not a large hotel and there probably aren't guests coming and going so much it requires someone manning a desk at all times. Being a small hotel, I'm betting the employees are wearing more than one hat apiece - and doing a great job ;) Small hotel or staff, this place was clean, and the staff was wonderful. And so was the beach.

Can't beat the price for the location. location. Unfortunately we were not able to stay and had to leave 2 hours after checking in. My daughter got stung by a stingray in both feet while in the water at the beach. So just be cautious for that at the water when you go. Other than our beach experience this place is great and budget friendly. Close to gas stations and food. Everything you need is in walking distance.

I think this was a pretty decent budget friendly travelodge…read more It does look good outside, and going inside it looked a big but it's because there's a mirror on the other side. Check in is at 3pm, I was told at 2 the room isn't ready so we got to check out the beach nearby until it was time to check in. They have two entrances to the upper floor where the rooms are located. There was construction going on nearby so we had to be careful walking to and from the beach. The room was spacious, we got the cheaper rate room which meant our view was towards the street. The sink is outside the bathroom, the beds make noise when you move around, the room gets really stuffy without the window open! I think my pros are that this place is so close to the beach, they have free coffee, they have a jack in the box next door, and parking is included. The cons are that it's a bit sketchy, some homeless people around but they didn't bother us when we crossed paths, you can see people walking by if you open the window and it doesn't have a protective screen so don't open it! Overall, I would come back if I want to stay near a beach and have Jack in the box breakfast next door!

Glad this place opened up so we no longer have to visit the Westminster or Cerritos locations…read more Spacious, clean and well lit. Gets very busy at all hours especially weekends. We have an annual pass so it helps to save money since 1 kid comes at least 1-2 times per month. We also get a discount at the concessions area since dibs and ice cream are cheaper with annual membership pass. Can only wear sky zone socks here. 2 hours of play per day as a member. Good spunky music. Great way to let out some energy.

I would avoid this Skyzone at any cost…read more It used to be our favorite. But management has gone downhill. My son had been punched in the head multiple times and hit in the head multiple times. No children were written up or stopped. The employees see it and do nothing. I've had at least 10 talks with management and they make zero changes. This location makes their own rules that don't follow that of any other Skyzone's. They have discriminatory conduct. Their employees just stand and gossip rather than clean. Their bathrooms are filthy pig sty's. Their counters don't get cleaned. I've come back the next day and same crumbs and stains. Their food court is overpriced and mostly the food tastes and looks awful. The employees are reckless and gossip rather than watching kids. All of the Skyzone's employ high schoolers. This one tries to use that as an excuse. Other locations it's like a family when we go there and they treat you like gold. This one doesn't care to train their employees or use their whistles to keep kids safe and educated. They will scream or go off of hear say instead, if they do anything. But mainly the employees are zombies that look everywhere but at the kids and gossip with their friends. Other locations of Skyzone are family oriented. This location makes me feel anxious every time I go in there. We've been here well over a hundred times at this point and I've seen this location at every level. The direction they are headed is for this location to be run down just like Westminster. The employees don't care about the kids or the park..mainly just collecting a paycheck. Their party's are not worth the price. Worst customer service of any Skyzone. One front desk agent at my gym around the same age, same area, does more than 10 of their employees. If I was the owner of this location, I would be appalled with my investment on every level. Truly an awful place. Unprofessional on every level. Beautiful exhibits which are getting destroyed by lack of care and responsibility. It's sad to watch really. No one respects the facility. Today when we went there wasn't a single employee visible on the floor watching kids or guiding them. They also have stairs which are hazardous and I was told by one of their managers they "are not required to help kids up there any more on their zip line or swing " they changed their policy and if I was worried about the kids that are not mine, I can go help them myself. Mind you at the time I'm watching 4 to 5 years lean out with an adult size swing pic to grab a swing and almost fall from ledges. They have zero accountability here and will blame a kid versus themselves so keep that in mind should you visit. They really don't care. But when I have tried to play with my son at this Skyzone I have gotten yelled at. Just lots of very contradictory info every time you talk to any employee or manager. I have way more stories but too much to fit into one Yelp review it would be a novel. Sufficeth it say, cool exhibits, bad vibes.
