Despite that, my mom still chose to leave a respectful and honest review, simply expressing her concerns in hopes that things would improve. What's even more upsetting is that when she returned to give the restaurant another chance, she was told by staff that they could not serve her because of the review she left. Mind you, this is someone who has supported this business for years. It's disheartening to see a loyal customer be turned away for providing honest feedback. Reviews are meant to help businesses grow, not punish customers for speaking up. I really hope management takes a step back and reevaluates how they handle feedback and treat long-time customers.

We shared many dishes: Bastilla (baked layers of filo dough, eggs, chicken, almonds, sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar); hummus (chickpeas, tahini, crushed garlic, lemon juice, sprinkled with paprika and olive oil, served with pita bread); Spanakopita; salad trio (eggplant salad, cucumber and tomato salad, and carrot salad); lamb tagine (stew of lamb, onions, and roasted peppers topped with honey and served with rice); Moroccan chicken with harissa cumin sauce; mujaddara (cracked bulgur wheat cooked with lentils and caramelized onions); and mint tea.
