The clubhouse went under a renovation not too long ago and looks very nice. The carpet and tables and chairs were replaced and the entire building was given a paint job. When you enter you immediately run into the pro shop. If you go upstairs you will find a full service bar and friendly bartenders. There is also a large meeting room, which can be rented for various occasions and events. The biggest complaint that I have is with the sound system. This has been a problem for years and has yet to be addressed. Overall, the Arlington Lakes Golf Club is a great space and is great for golf, drinks, and hosting events.

Outside t may have looked really awesome in the 80s but it looks like they've made no changes or updates since. There is one ramp from the one side of the building, but I'm not totally sure the parking on that side is related to the country club and it's not super close for folks who might need the accessibility accommodations to being with. I've only been to a country club once, so perhaps it's exactly what it's supposed to be, but this seemed to just be a golf course and then their clubhouse, which has a pro shop and I'm not sure if they have anything in there when there's not an event. That's where the event I attended was held. The sound is not good, and I'm not sure if that's due to the sound system or because we were a bit further in the back of the clubhouse on the other side of the bar, with the bar in the way. But we could barely hear a thing when they were using the mics, so it's something to keep in mind if you plan your event here.

The entrance is a great spacious area with variety of comfy seats and spaces to place pictures to honor loved ones and showcase the couples travels and love story. We made it to the bar and noticed the cute signature drink signage. The margarita was delish! There were a lot of folks crowding the bar for cocktail hour and the two bartenders were busting their chops to serve all guests..couldn't help but noticed they could of used a third person to ease the load. Making our way to the next part of the room, there were cocktail tables, a photo booth, and sign-in/gifts table. After awhile the staff removed some dividers to reveal a spacious area for the tables and guests with the sweetheart table center and ample room for dancing. The evening flowed with speeches, plated dinners, dances, and a champagne toast. The salad sat on a cheese bowl with boats of dressing to pass around, the entrees had tasty veggies and creamy potatoes. My fiancés salmon tasted better than the chewy filet mignon. As soon as the dancing started, the staff would whisk away plates and bottles of wine to which our table requested the bottles be left behind due them still being consumed / half full. The bar was still flowing and later in the evening there were some midnight snacks. Bathrooms had plenty of stalls and were clean. The overall time we had went by too quickly! Enjoyed our evening!!

I had a great time here, you don't need to be Tiger Woods to have fun at Topgolf - all skill level players are welcome. You can pick multiple golfing games on screens in your section - you can do ones that only count if you hit the holes, ones that count your distance, ones that incorporate fun app games like Angry Birds and Sonic and more. Our server was very friendly/attentive at our section while golfing, she checked up on us a lot if we needed help or if we wanted to order anything. I didn't bother ordering food or drinks as it's all extremely expensive (eat/drink before you go). If you like mini golf, but regular golf isn't your thing, I think Topgolf is somewhere in the middle where you can have a great time at. Definitely check it out at least once, the earlier you go in the day, the less crowded it will be - especially early mornings.

We were told it would an additional 25 minutes so we sat in the bar, ate and after about 45 minutes went up to check and was told it would be another hour because we were moved down because we weren't platinum members... There was no communication, no text alert. We took our kids there for a birthday and ended up walking out to play mini golf. Our 7 year old was bummed out.
