In my experience with Restlawn, they made sure the family I was assigned to needed for nothing. Their funeral home is well equipped and intimate. I mean to say that it is set up for one event/one family at a time. Truly the team will take care of you the entire time, without the distraction of competing for resources during remembrance/celebration of your family member's life. They can provide a variety of services. They can provide overnight and extended visitation on their grounds, or arrange for visitations at your home if you want. They are bilingual and have the options of Latin music, if that's your flavor. In my expeir nice on the day of the remembrance, the team welcomed me early and made sure I had what I needed to support my assigned family (I was a Casualty Assistance Officer). They hosted folks in a hospitality area prior to the memorial. They have a nice sized chapel area. Their parking lot is pretty big I'm the rear to allow for a procession to form and travel to a cemetery that's local. The Angel Restlawn team did a great job coordinating with the National Cemeteries team. They made sure the transfer of remains to the cemetery was done correctly and respectfully. Our mother was cremated without any consent or confirmation from the family regarding whether we would be present. Hillcrest (Sophia) unilaterally made this decision, depriving us of the opportunity for a final viewing. When this was addressed with staff, they shifted blame onto family members, causing even more pain during an already devastating time, rather than taking accountability. They assumed it was the right decision, which was unacceptable and deeply hurtful. Be aware, their staff shows lack of competence. The staff showed poor judgment and did not take the initiative to clarify. Staff was Dismissive and untrustworthy, as we were blatantly lied to. The Person handling our mothers arrangements, Sophia was on The phone with the crematory and she told us that it could be postponed till tomorrow an hour later we received a call stating the process was completed, which made no sense. We went to the crematory and they told us when she called the first time they had already told her the process had started why she lied to us, especially in our face is unknown . Especially when the receptionist tells you they will call and let you know these things. My family member was cremated and back at their office sitting there for 2 months, the only reason I knew this was because I called to get an update and found out this information. They never called to inform me the ashes were in. They were nice and polite in every other aspect, they just need work on the communication issue.

A tour of the museum was free and the staff was super friendly in informing us tmm about Salvador Perches" dream to take over the family funeral home business, and the development of taking care of our beloved after their passing Also on the grounds we're a country le of food trucks and Lucha Frontera provided some lucha libre entertainment. We enjoyed aguas frescas and tacos from the food trucks and enjoyed the high flying elbows, leg drops, and suplexes offered by the wrestling entertainers from Lucha Frontera. My grandparents bronze vase had come up missing and they said they would find one and replace it but never did then my father's disappeared as well and they told us they didn't have insurance to replace it and it was up to us so my mother had to pay another $600 to replace it. In the area that my family is buried, the ground is now baren except for the weeds and grass burs and it's just a depressing thing to see when going to pay respects to lost loved ones. They keep expanding but the older part is left in disrepair. It's truly shameful and disgraceful.
