First stop on arrival! If you can't check in early, this is the place to start your holiday. A great beach club with lots of shade, easy entrance to swim, snorkel. The staff are personable, attentive and many are long-time employees. The food is very good, with large portions (we often split a main). Great drinks, 2 Happy Hours a day and live music most days. A fun last minute stop while in Cozumel. I got the nachos, my husband got the fajitas. Both were great choices! The meat was tender and flavorful. Both dishes were loaded up and definitely enough food to be shareable! We were seated on the sand, which was lovely because my son could play while we waited. My favorite place to visit while in Cozumel Mexico. $15 bucket of 6 beers (local or imported). Delicious food prepped on site. 15ish min walking distance from the cruise port. This is my 5/6th visit and it just realized I've never posted a review. Today I ordered tacos Al Pastor and Ceviche. I'm sure it will be amazing. And the food surpassed my expectations!!! In front of the bar is a great beach with a sandy entrance with stairs and good snorkeling. the staff is amazing. I went 3x during my 6-day visit and they always remembered my drink. It is one of the best places to watch the sunset. Enrique, Marta, and Elisa are so kind and offered the best hospitality. Also 2 for 1 cocktails during Happy Hour. Definitely will be back when I return in November. read more

Great food, very good service without hovering or pushing, and an awesome atmosphere. Great COVID protocols also; we felt very safe here. We took a day off from diving, but still wanted to see coral and fish. This place has a super easy entry with a handrail (grandmas and little children were easily navigating it) protected swimming inside a long line of buoys, and lots of sea life. While we were there, a scuba group was going out planting new coral to help the reef recover. Please do remember to use reef safe sunscreen if you go in the water! We saw spotted damselfish, four eyed butterfly fish, stingrays, a spotted cow fish : I know this is supposed to be a review of the restaurant, but we really went there for the reef. Food we had was grilled over open flame, so had that summertime taste: awesome burger and tacos. read more

This is a really enjoyable place for an open air bar next to the water, with a thatched roof and a tourist menu and an actually pretty fun cover band that plays all the songs you didn't know you wanted to hear. It faces west so the name is appropriate at sunset. The happy hour is two for one drinks - pretty good! And our mojitos were not the weak sauce that we expected. Unfortunately, you have to watch out when you get your bill. They tried to charge us for an extra pair of drinks, and you have to suspect that it might be common practice. But if you keep an eagle eye on the check, it's a really fun tourist activity. read more

Call Sunset for a reason this is a place for sunset which just happens to be two for one happy hour from 5 to 7 I've been here four nights in a row. I never did have any of the food it's rated one dollar sign I think it should probably be to the food prices are normal but not cheap the nachos look humungous and amazing but I can't comment on the food but the two-for-one happy hour sunset with live band most nights. We wandered down from our hotel for lunch for a change of pace and found this gem. Not drinkers we ordered 2 Cokes and nachos with shrimp. Ok. I legit just had the absolute best damn shrimp quesadillas, ever. I didn't even realize they could be juicy! The shrimp were fresh and the flavor was amazing. Great portions. Very cheesy. Came with a side of guacamole. I have eaten here 3 times this week. I just happened to stumble upon it on my walk from El Cid. For breakfast I've done the chicken chilequiles Verde. The chicken is real chicken breast. No gnarly weird pieces. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back. The burger looks amazing. That's next on the list. read more

This is a good spot if your cruiseship docks at the International Pier and you choose not to do an excursion. You'd have to douse me with Tequila to get me to go shopping in the Royal Pier Village or downtown. So this was a great place to spend 3 to 4 hours at port. It seems most restaurants on the waterside has access to the water but we chose this one because of the reviews. This spot turned out to be awesome!! It's about 15 minute from the pier by foot. It's really a scuba diving outfit, restaurant and bar. While we were here, we saw people occupied tables for 4 hours, snorkeling and eating/drinking, not at the same time of course. The standard Mexican fare was very good and reasonably priced. Drinks were cheap. I don't know how much they charge for the snorkeling gears since we didn't partake, but we did dip in the water between bites. This is truly an one-stop shop, all you need to bring are towels. read more

I love this bar. So many people head straight to some all inclusive while in cozumel. Skip that and head here. There's beach access, but it isn't crazy busy. You can sit at bar swings without having to jockey for available ones. Most importantly, the beer and mezcal keeps flowing! Prices were very affordable. Don't book an exclusion when your ship is in port. Walk out, hustle, juke, and swerve through the sea of tourist trap shops (just keep smiling and say no gracias) and head down the road about 1/2 mile to Sunset Bar. Cheap beers, friendly staff, good food, you can't go wrong here. Happy hour in Lourdes buy one get one! Unfortunately we weren't able to stay until sunset, our ship was taking off at 530, but I can only imagine how beautiful it would be from their vantage point. read more
