Caution when dealing with this company. Sent me to collections for a closed plan that occurred on site in June of 2014. No notification of any problem despite them having my correct address and cell number. They stated "we only contact members via email and they had a totally incorrect email of soccermom@hotmail.com or something!" Original owner is not there to vouch and they were not willing to even call me to discuss. Lost an opportunity to apologize and gain a pottential spray tan member and now forcing me to take other action to clear my Bureau and losses. read more

What sets this place apart from other tanning salons is the cleanliness, friendly and knowledgable staff! Yes, a tanning bed is a tanning bed but here I KNOW they are clean and staff are well trained. They have something called 'the hydration station' and it moisturizes you skin - my tan is deeper and lasts longer when i use it. The spray tan booth is a bit strange at first but the results amazing! I shopped around a bit but these guys have EVERYTHING. and you can find locations all over greater vancouver so its easy to never miss a tan. read more

The worst customer service and biggest scam of a place. I went in to cancel my membership and the employee had suggested freezing my account then cancelling it in case I change my mind - free of charge! I now try to cancel my account and I'm being told I have to pay full price as you cannot go from a freeze to a cancellation. Even the contract does not state this! Regardless of explaining this to them and letting them know I was given false information, they still deny helping me without payment. Do NOT go here, biggest money grab there is. If you try to complain, they hide behind email with no phone number to call. read more

If I could give a zero star I would They over charged me for the first month and then told me they would reimburse me this month and then over charged me again and now is refusing to give me a refund and told me to talk to my credit card company. And I asked to cancel the first time (2 weeks ago) and now I asked again and told them I would be out of town until the 15 and they said I had to cancel in store and I will now have to pay for September. And they were just super rude. I dont get super angrey and companies but DUDE my blood is boiling at all the assholeness. Next step blasting on social media moms groups and single moms groups. Worst spray tan and lack of customer service. I can't describe how much i hate my spray tan, it was on LOW as well.

I've been to plenty of tanning salons in the Tri-Cities, but none as good as Sunscape Tanning Studios. The salon in general is beautiful - very modern with gorgeous lighting & decor. The tanning beds are the best you will find - my pale skin quickly tans to a golden shade thanks to the Level 4 bed I frequent, and the VersaSpa sunless tan is the easiest way to a natural looking tan. Poco location. The receptionist (freckles, curly reddish blonde hair) was very unfriendly (perhaps has a chip on her shoulder?). Didnt greet me (or my friend when she went earlier), just ignored me when i walked in even though she looked right at me and then proceeded to look me up and down with a sneer. She was very snooty. This is the 3rd time she has acted this way. Don't know if I want to return to that location because of that. All of the other locations are wonderful though! read more

Poor customer service! Their spray bed broke on me during a promotional rate (double dip). They refuse to give me a replacement tan but gave me back my 15$, called me the next day an hour before closing to tell me that I basically had until 7pm to come redeem my tan by using the 15$ they gave me back because the promotion expired that day. They have argued with me many times saying they refunded me and that's that. They will not compensate me for the very bad half spray tan I was left with and I would have to pay 40$ to get another one (double dip). I don't understand why they can't just give me another spray tan at no charge since mine was faulty, that is all I am asking for. If something interrupted a service at any other business, the professional thing to do is to make it right and compensate for the defective product! It's really disappointing that they do not value their customers. They even said that I shouldn't have gotten the promotional price because I used a gift card! Excuse me!?!?! A gift card is considered cash in any business regardless if there is a promotion or not. A gift card is not a promotion. What a load of sh** read more

Horrible experience. I signed up for a year long auto pay membership. Before the start of the 12 month of the contract I asked a staff member "what exactly do I need to do to cancel at the 12 month mark." She said she would put a note on my file. She said nothing about written notice. I confirmed with her that the month I was putting on my card that day was the last month I would be paying for no I didn't need to put a new card on file. She confirmed that. Now several months later I find out I am accruing monthly charges and nsf fees. Sunscape let 3 months go by without notifying me of this and now tells me I can't cancel until my account is in good standing. The part that is the most infuriating is that I asked well ahead of time in good faith how to cancel. All of these predatory practices are written right into the contract. They don't have to tell you if your payments are not going through and it doesn't matter what the staff says. Go elsewhere. I've had auto pay memberships at other tanning studios and I've never had this kind of issue. I found I wasn't using my monthly membership enough to make it worth it so I was going to switch to the pay per visit once the Covid situation improved. You would think it would be better to keep a long term customer than to take advantage of people. I should be able to ask a staff member a question like that and get accurate information. read more

I have been to other tanning salons in my lifetime and this is THE best one for sure!! Easy parking, fantastic modern selection of beds and stand-up booths, as well as the hydration station, friendly and knowledgeable staff... and clean, clean, clean. I've not checked out their other sites as this one is close to home. I would expect they'd be just as great. This one deserves the "Best of Vancouver" rating and I highly recommend SunScape. read more

Two stars for the decent beds but what I have a problem with is the amount of money they charge you if there are no beds in your plan available. $10 if you are forced to "upgrade" to a slightly better EMPTY bed. I think that's a bit steep given the circumstances. They've gouged me with this once before. I won't pay it again. I will go elsewhere. Somewhere with good customer service! read more

Well, unfortunately I gave these guys 3 chances and was thoroughly disappointed after each one. I'm familiar with high end tanning salons and this one doesn't even come close except for the fancy products showcased. The acrylic on the beds is cracked, the rooms are inhospitable and you're rushed in and out with little care to how your experience was. I do take the time to give positive feedback when I'm really impressed, just as I give negative feedback when I'm really displeased. Yes, this place is better than many seedy, greasy little tanning salons you see.. but it costs a fortune and the service provided is low-end and disappointing. People who don't know anything other than this style of tanning are missing out - nobody should feel rushed and skeptical of the cleanliness or feel cracked acrylic in a tanning bed. Lights needed to be changed and there was a splatter of dark lotion caked on the controls. Go elsewhere! read more

Love the high pressure tanning bed! It is more expensive but worth every penny. If you burn easy ( like me) this is the way to go. You can tan once a week and maintain your colour. It will give you a deep and dark bronze colour! Great service! read more
