This place houses rescued big cats, such as the one confiscated from defunct wildlife attractions (such as the ones from the Netflix special) and donated from zoos that could no longer care for them. Admission is not very expensive, and is used to provide the animals care. The complex is not very big. I walked it in about 20 minutes. It is filled with animals such as lions, tigers, lygers, white lions, and panthers. They were not the most active animals, but you can still get a good look at them. Each pen has the name of the animal and what it is and you will find a donation box for each of the cats in front of their pens, with their birthdate and a brief synopsis of their background and how they ended up at the Rescue. The bugs were eating me alive while I was there, so I would suggest bringing some bug spray if you plan on hanging out there any amount of time. They have benches to sit on in the compound and a small outdoor amphitheater which I believe that hold exhibition and classes. You can buy a scented box or a raw chicken for them to feed to your favorite cat while you are there. It cost $12 and is so worth it. I would say that they discourage you from buying just one chicken for a cat that is in a pen with another cat. They highly recommend that you buy for all the cats in the pen or find a pen with one cat in it. They also tell you which cat has been feed that day and would provide you with suggestions of another more hungry and active cat. They have a small gift shop in the middle of the complex that you can purchase stuffed animals, poppets, magnets, and pictures. The gift shop is unstaffed and you take your goods to the ticket booth to pay for them. This is a nice attraction to visit and a change of pace of from the Dells touristy stuff. I love their backstory and it is a very interesting place to visit.

We watched two tigers get fed. They lay a frozen chicken down and then the tigers lick them. The lion and other tiger was not hungry so they did not eat. Seems like a step up from a zoo for living conditions for the animals which is nice. You can spend like 10-15 minutes here. $10 adults, $8 seniors.

If I'm ever back near The Dells again, I'll definitely be boarding my dog here & will refer others as well.

Reasonable prices, friendly staff the first time around. The second time I went to pick up our dog, she left with kennel cough. She was miserable and we needed to go to the vet.I called to let them know and they basically told me not to bring in a sick dog. Why would I knowingly board my dog with kennel cough? I repeated that I was calling to inform them that one of the other dogs had given it to her and to look into it. They treated it passively and unapologetic. We will not be going back.
