We don't leave him overnight very often anymore, but when we need to now, this is where he goes. Extremely clean place. The owners are so good about working with me as our dog has special needs since he's older. I've never met more accommodating owners before. I especially like the set up where they can go outside from their actual kennel. Because of the way it's set up for the pet to go outside if he wants, our dog has never come home stinking like he did from other places. I wish I would have found this place years ago.

At midnight I call the clinic number. In 15 min he called me back. At 6:30 I called again about a related problem ( I am not the hysterical type). He reassured me about the secondary problem. At 9:00 his office called to say the anti seizure medicine was ready for pick up. Again he spent time explaining his choice of the medicine and the possible projections of the seizures. I feel this was extraordinary service and my dog is doing fine.

Dogs are kept in small cages their whole lives as breeders, and their puppies are sold to labs for painful and often fatal experiments. How a vet can be so heartless is beyond me. We were welcomed with a personal visit from an instructor who introduced herself and wanted to get to know our dog a little better. Our puppy took a liking to her while she explained to us in detail how the boarding service would work. She provided us with a list of items she needed in order to make our puppy's stay enjoyable for him: Food, any medical services he needed while he was away, personal clothing, toys, etc. Ruff pups sent daily pictures and video of our puppy to let us know he was okay. He also played with the other dogs in the area and was under constant supervision. I will very likely be using their services in the future. Our dog was healthy, happy, and anxious to see us when we came to pick him up. Thank you Ruff Pups.

I am a retired vet in the area, and when my male older dog developed a tumor, the doctor at Sunrise…read morewas able to excise it and then sent it for pathology review. The excised specimen came back as a cancerous tumor but had clean tissue margins (meaning completely excised). The path review also stated that while it was a low grade malignancy tumor, that I needed to monitor my dog for signs that it may have already spread through the lymph nodes and would need further treatment. At a cellular level, it had, and had invaded the regional lymph nodes. So, even though we had another 3 months of good time with my boy, I ended up having him euthanized last week. I opted not to pursue chemotherapy or radiation which would have required an oncologist consult and possible extra pain and misery for my pet... Sunrise Vet was so very compassionate and a very good value for my experience. I highly recommend them as very high quality care, and offer a wide range of services.
