My dog was very lovingly and thoroughly examined. She was a little nervous at first, but realized she wasn't going to be hurt by them. Needless to say, this doggie momma was extremely happy to be treated so well by the whole staff. From the receptionist, to the veterinary assistant, and the doctor herself treated us like instant family. We will hopefully not have another incident, but there is peace of mind knowing that we have a place to go if necessary. I would highly recommend Hill Dale Veterinary clinic any day.

It's a small, clean building with on-site parking, nice patient rooms and welcoming reception staff. Hill-Dale does a wonderful job of keeping my little boston terrier at ease and they make the experience for you and your pet the best they can. All of her regular check-ups with Dr. Doughty have been great, she and the vet techs are fantastic at keeping her calm and as relaxed as possible despite her being so scared. Unfortunately my little girl was diagnosed with mast cell cancer but the team worked hard to comfort me and give me as much information as they could to put me at ease about having her go through surgery. The cons? Wow, that surgery was really expensive and there's no payment plan -you can either pay for it then or you can't. Luckily I held a fundraiser on social media and that covered most of it. Dr. Dobbert -a UW Madison Vet School grad- did the surgery and was very sweet, gave excellent care for my girl and made a tough experience better. After getting some not-so-great results from the lab they work with, Dr. Dobbert went above and beyond following up with me on the phone multiple times afterwards, especially seeing that I was having a really emotional and rough time. He took the time to get more detailed information on the tumor results from the lab oncologist so that I had the most thorough understanding possible. Now that's what being a true doctor is all about :) The vet techs did the same to comfort me and just try to keep me as at ease as they could. Ervin was such a sweetheart to the both of us before surgery and went I came to pick her up. The techs are very kind, knowledgeable and deserve more praise than I think they typically do. What would I change? Well, we all love our pets and want to fight for them -I wish it were possible to make payments if your credit was good because some treatments are very expensive but it's still the medical field, I get it. It's a pricer vet compared to others we've gone to. My little girl is going to an oncologist Dr. Dobbert recommended and I'll keep fighting for her. I'm sure they'll follow-up. Great facility, lovable resident cats, caring staff. Five stars and wagging tails for Hill-dale.

Pet Memorial Services, was so professional and extremely empathetic to me. They were able to return her cremains to me within one day, so that I could bring her back home to Indiana. Susan was so very comforting with my initial phone call. The staff and technicians that did the work, are all exceptional at what they do. I really appreciate and am very thankful they were there for me in my time of need and grief!

We didn't want creamation, our children wanted her buried in her favorite spot at our cottage up North. We were charged $60 a month (a little high seeing how our previous vet with our other dog held him for free for 3 months) and had to prepay. I told them we go up on weekends and as soon as the ground thawed we would come and get her. She said that was no problem, just let them know and someone would be there and have her ready for pick up. Well, I call to set a time on Saturday and was told they didn't do weekend pickups, after they told me I could back in February. We are leaving on vacation next weekend so we can reschedule. Oh, they'll charge me another $60 for another week, of course you! So we have to pick up our St. Bernard tomorrow and hope she fits in our freezer, and bring her up Saturday. Compassion my butt! Our kids will be horrified if they find out. But what choice do we have? We can't risk of her thawing. This is absolutely awful!!! It's so inhumane! Had we been told the truth earlier that we couldn't do weekend pickups, we could have arranged things differently. They would not make an exception or offer any help, just pay them more money. They don't care about you, your pet, just money! I have never had my pet treated so badly!
