They took our dog and said they would surgically remove the obstruction. They didn't do it that day because Dr Cooper wanted to go home. When I called to book my appointment, the lady was absolutely friendly and was able to get me an appointment the same day. The building itself was built in 2015-or-so and it is spacious and nicely decorated. I had to fill-out only a small amount of paperwork and then waited for less than five minutes before being brought into the room. Dr. Terry and his staff were wonderful to work with. To my surprise, they showed me the bill following the initial exam to obtain my approval for the additional work they wanted to do (a CBC) - I thought this was very nice as most vets do not show you the bill until you get to checkout. I am always hesitant to see new vets as some try to recommend unnecessary steps (e.g. I knew that her heart was fine and that an x-ray was unnecessary). I explained to Dr. Terry that I see my regular vet every-other-month and described what blood work was recently done - he was patient with me and I am very thankful that I found this wonderful vet. Pricing seemed very reasonable too. Note, while there, I learned that Dr. Terry had practiced in Madison for roughly 25-years before building this vet in Pardeeville! Bottom line: I highly recommend this vet. If this vet is a drive for you, it is worth it.

I also don't feel like they listen well to my concerns, and have repeated labs that incurred additional charges, and given prescriptions for meds (ear cleaner) that they know I can't get into one dog's ears. I long considered getting a second opinion on my oldest dog who is 17 but has been very happy and healthy until this last year. I'd planned to transfer to another clinic that is easier to get in touch with, and requested copies of my pets' records over 2 months ago. At that time, I was told by the receptionist (Dr. Terry's wife, who is a wholly unpleasant person to deal with) that copies of charts cost $20 each, unless we have them sent directly to another clinic. I requested the records be sent over to my other clinic of choice at that time, and it was not done. Since then, the other clinic has requested my records multiple times on my behalf, to no avail. I finally have run out of patience, as my oldest dog now has an appointment at this other clinic tomorrow, and I was told (after 2 phone calls and an email) that I had to pay $20 and wait 7 to 10 days for his records to be sent. Additionally, I was told that I misunderstood the vet's wife 2 months ago, and that charts cost $20 regardless (I didn't, and my partner was given the same information at that time from the same person, independently of myself). I paid them their $20 so my new vet can compare labs on my old boy, and help make him more comfortable in what is likely to be the last few months of his life. Dr. Terry is a gentle and kind vet, but his wife should not be involved in the business at all, and I question their unsavory business practices. If you care about your pets, don't bring them here. All they seem to be after is money. They just got the last $20 I'll ever give them.

Pet owners beware, this place is only after your money ever since being bought by a bigger company…read more I took my pet there a month ago, who was suffering from weakness and lack of appetite, and the vet who attended my furry friend "guessed" that she was suffering kidney failure and that there was nothing they could do since she was "dying". They then proceeded to PUSH euthanasia down my throat multiple times, saying it was the right thing to do. They were also kind enough to give a sales pitch on their cremation prices too. After being fed nothing but pressure for euthanasia, I decided their "guess" didn't sit well with me and I rushed my pet to another clinic that my family used and trusted for a second opinion. They ran bloodwork and many tests to reveal that the Cazenovia Hospital's guess was completely wrong. There was no kidney failure, there was no dying, she had a UTI and an infection in her gums causing her to have difficulty chewing thus becoming malnourished and weak. This new vet clinic stabilized her and put her on antibiotics, fast forward to now and my little furry friend is completely back to normal. Cazenovia Animal Hospital almost killed my animal friend of 15 years over something fixed with antibiotics and $0.79 cans of pate wet food. They spent more time advertising euthanasia and cremation services like an advertisement on an oldies station than actually trying to heal my animal. Folks, go somewhere else, otherwise you'll bring your dog in for a hangnail and they'll probably attempt to euthanize her.
