DBS recently built a walled courtyard and patio for us, as well as extending our backyard patio…read more From the first meeting, DBS understood what we were looking for. They asked us questions about how we would be using the space, placement of water and electric in our new space, inquired about finishes and made suggestions based on their experience. Our next meeting was to review estimate. The stages of the project were well defined with a payment schedule tied to completion of various benchmarks and city inspections. The status communication throughout the project was excellent: we received regular-ins and updates (by text, phone and in-person) on what to expect over the next few days. We are very happy with the completed work, and would use DBS again for future projects.

ZERO stars!! Diversified Building Solutions is a SCAM- BEWARE DO NOT USE THEM! I contracted to have…read morethe build a 48' pool, fire pit, and putting green in Terra Lago, Indio and they did NOT deliver on time nor within budget and have pursued me for more money outside of the contract because they did a terrible job with their planning and accounting. When I refused to pay and referred to the contract details and payment schedule, they raised the total amount and threatened to put a lien against my home if I did not pay. They hired an UNLICENSED contractor named Fabian Rivera with LC Construction to build a putting green valued at $17,000 who used cheap materials fromHome Depot. It looked like they used a carpet knife to cut the cheap turf and was shredded and incomplete per the contract. When I disputed paying them more than what was in the contract they disabled my pool, knowing I am remote and threatened to keep it non functional putting it in jeopardy for damage and said they would make it functional again if I give them more money. They will not deliver on the remaining work that was paid in full because of their own misunderstanding. I sent thorough proof of the contract and rationale for their discrepancies at which point they stopped answering my calls and requests for resolution. I had no other option that to take them to court, which we are beginning proceedings on today. These guys are scammers and use unethical practices like threats and violating your property when you are not there to scam you for more money. Avoid them at all costs- Stay away!

Jake was sympathetic to what I just went through with all the money lost by hiring people that were not licensed. He scheduled me an appointment for an estimate and arrived on time. Jake was kind, considerate, professional, and very concerned with what happened inside my house after the roof was not done properly by the previous companies. It was a nightmare. When Jake arrived, he told me he is going to look at the roof as if he knew nothing about what happened, which he did. I received the estimate and gave him the job. Jake kept me informed every step of the way. It was service unlike any I had experienced here in the desert. When there was a problem with the previous company's work, Jake explained it to me and corrected it. During this time, Jake went above and beyond to make sure my roof and the adjoining fascia boards were fixed and painted properly. There was nothing that Jake overlooked in making sure my roof was fixed properly. I couldn't have asked for a better company to do business with. Jake is a one of a kind in the customer satisfaction / craftsmanship area. It is very rare to find someone who takes pride in his field, but I certainly got that with Jake of Roofworks. Thank you Jake. I would certainly hire you again and recommend you to anyone who mentions they need any roof work done at all. You are a cut above the rest.

We called around and got a few quotes and Michael was the only person that was honest and straight forward. Other companies told us we would need to pay a fee for them to pull a permit or re-roof the entire house and Michael straight up told me that due to the size of our job, a permit wasn't required by the city and that most of the roof was still in good shape! Seems like other companies we were in touch with were trying to take advantage!! I called Michael and he was able to go out and inspect our roof and give a quote in a timely manner. He kept me up to date via text about every step of the project and sent pictures to me so I could see everything. He was reliable, quick to respond, professional and friendly.
