I want to preface this by saying that this was my second time here, and my first time was amazing. The first time I received a wonderful massage and wonderful service. I had hyped this place up to so many people and was really looking forward to going back. Today's experience was much much different.
This was absolutely the most uncomfortable massage experience I have ever had. Upon walking in, I was asked for my card upfront for payment. I handed over my card, and I was instructed to go into my room to undress while they ran my card. I undressed, got on the table, and the woman helping me ran in and started picking up my clothes tossing them at me to get dressed. Confused, I put my clothes back on and went back to the front where it seemed like my card wasn't processing. She handed me her phone that was on FaceTime with a man and grabbed my card to run it again, this time asking me to enter my pin so I did and it worked. I took my card back, and she instructed me to go back into the room and undress again. While I was halfway undressed standing there with my top off, she barged in again and told me I needed to tip her in cash. I told her I had no cash on me and planned to tip on the card transaction once the massage was complete. She accepted that, and stood in the room while I continued to undress and get back on the table. The massage was fine, very average but nothing spectacular. However, she made zero effort to keep me covered with the provided sheet, and was often in and out through the curtain, leaving me pretty exposed and not at all relaxed. Every time I tucked back underneath the sheet to maintain some semblance of privacy, she just tossed it out of the way again.
When the massage was finished, she left the room so I could get dressed. Again while I was half naked, she ran in again and demanded my card so she could run it again for a tip. I said "just a minute, let me finish getting dressed", and she stood there until I was completely clothed. I handed her my card again and we both walked back up front so she could run my card so I could tip her. She asked me how much, and I told her $15, which was 25% of the provided service, and fairly standard for a tip despite how uncomfortable the whole process was. She proceeded to argue with me and told me I owed her at least $20 for a tip. I again reiterated that I'd like to tip $15, and this wasn't an acceptable answer for her. She continued to argue with me for a few minutes about why I should tip more. I said "if you don't want the tip, I'll just take my card back and leave" and she finally accepted that, ran my card for $15, and I left.
I'm really never one to leave reviews, much less bad ones, but I honestly couldn't believe how akward and uncomfortable this whole experience was. If you're looking for relaxation, this place isn't it. I left more tense than when I arrived, between being barged in on naked multiple times, and being argued with over a 25% tip. Had I been more comfortable with the experience, I wouldn't have had a problem tipping $20 or or even $30, but this was seriously akward and off putting and I don't plan on returning. read more
