This was the only available lounge for Star Alliance Gold members not flying Polaris nearest to Terminal B. It primarily serviced customers flying to Africa (minus Morocco) in Terminal T.
To get there required a shuttle bus ride that ran approximately every 10 minutes from Terminal B. Make sure you factor that in if you come here from Terminal B. It took 20 plus minutes for me as there was also an additional screen before reaching the United gate.
The most appealing aspect of this lounge was the views of the runway and gates. Lounge was on the smaller side but it felt spacious with the high ceilings and wrap around windows on two sides. The prime seats by the windows were all full. There was also table and barstool seating closer to the buffet.
Food was ok with bland pasta and rice dishes for breakfast besides the typical pastries and cereals. Sides included edamame, potato salad, fruits, dolmas and more. Bottles of wine and beer were on tap along with coffee machines. A fancy water tap dispensed still and sparkling water.
Bathrooms were clean with showers available if needed.
The staff informed me that the lounge had limited hours of operation and would close that day by noon. Check before heading over. For me, it helped pass the time so it was worth the hassle. read more
