Inside has plenty of seating and is very clean.

Currently sitting here enjoying our hand crafted classy drinks. Very impressed with this small gem. We were looking for a small experi3nce before dinner and we found it. The bartender is experienced and listens well to your preferred and usual drinking style to help you decide. He made a smokey mezcal spirit (Mezcal Cillin aka Penicillin) for me and the Pineapple Incident for my husband. Both were well balanced. And unlike the US very reasonable for the experience, taste and well balanced spirits. It's a little away from the noise and hustle by the Grand Palace. We came on a Monday evening and there were only a few other customers. Great quiet spot and prices are very reasonable.

Absolutely love the space and ambiance.

I feel a bit conflicted about Chemistry & Botanic's. I want to love this place for their cozy decor and friendly staff. However the drinks are just mediocre and I was unfortunately a bit disappointed. The drinks were just bland and tasted like any other mixed drink you might get. For the lack of a better word it did not taste fresh. Further the volume is so high that you pretty much have to scream across your table, and a mocktail coat as much as a regular drink with alcohol.

The wife and I are a huge fan of cocktails. We've made a point to get to all the well known Brussels cocktail bars, and it was time to hit Chemistry and Botanic. I made a reservation for two at the bar, because we love to sit and what the bartender make drinks. All the other cocktail bars we've been to, when you sit at the bar, you can chat a bit with the bartender, ask some questions about the drinks, and just marvel at the skill. None of that happened here. The first thing we noticed was all the drinks were batched. Despite the numerous bottles behind him, he didn't grab a single one the entire time we were there. Everything was premade and measured with the jigger into the glass. There wasn't any conversation. He didn't ask us, until I was going to pay, how the drinks were. Nothing. The worst part? The drinks were not good. The wife ordered the Jasmine Martini, which, with an absinthe spray, tasted only like absinthe at the start, and only like oversteeped tea at the end. My drink, the Jaliscoffee, had no real distinguishable notes. Couldn't taste the tequila, or pull out the Chartreuse. It mostly tasted like a bad vermouth cocktail with almost no note of coffee. We were incredibly disappointed with the whole experience. The bachelorette party commandeering most of the bar however, seemed to be having a good time. All in all, for the price, there's so many other, better cocktail bars. Dont waste your time. The only reason for two stars and not one is that we learned celery salt goes nicely with Comté.

Omg loved this place! The second we passed it I said to my girl, we need to come back here later and I am so happy we did! First off, their drink menu was fabulous, lots of interesting concepts, and unique flavor combinations. Secondly, the bartender, Thomas, was outstanding. He made fabulous drinks, he was friendly and informative and really talented (and also very attractive). It wasn't that crowded when we arrived so we had the opportunity to sit at the bar, which was awesome (the bar only seats maybe 6 people). If the drinks weren't so expensive, I would have stayed here all night ($16 or so a drink). I told Thomas the drinks were just as good as the Aviary in NYC. He was seriously talented. Definitely worth a stop if you like cocktails!

Stopped in here on NYE for a few drinks and absolutely loved it. Ordered the New York Sour and the Cherrypolitan. Was able to see the bartender make both drinks and do tricks while doing so! Very cute place with phenomenal drinks and great atmosphere.

Since the wife and I have really been into cocktails lately, trying to learn as much as we can, and trying new things, we decided to check them out on a Friday night. The bartender, Mica was so kind and friendly to my wife and me. We sat at the bar to watch him work, and to admittedly pick his brain when it came to ingredients. The wife tried a classic Mai Tai and I had their Cognac Safe Ticket. You can find descriptions of their house cocktails in the pictures. I absolutely loved the CST, and found it to be so delicious with it's hint of pear. We ordered a cheese plate and two more drinks, a Dill Breaker and An Apple A Day Keeps the COVID Away... Which despite the long name, was easily, without a doubt, the one of the best cocktails my wife and I have ever had! We enjoyed talking to them about their rums, especially their Trinidadian rums. They let us try some vermouths and other ingredients we and been curious about, and the bartender was so open to all our questions and provided some great conversation as well! The vibe of this place is great. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice date spot, or for great cocktails. We can't wait to go back!

The bartender from another local bar told us to check this place out, and although it ended up being a little bit of a search mission, it was well worth the detour. When we arrived they asked if we had a reservation (Sat evening). We said no, and they said that was okay, they had seats downstairs. There's a prohibition like feel meets 1920s themed mental patient/witch doctor like vibe, making you want to instagram every little thing you see. We walked past the first floor, down some stairs to a little area with couch like seats and then down to the downstairs floor. Interesting bar with lots of unique contraptions in glass underneath the actual bar, as well as a giant stuffed lion with a bandage wrapped around his head. They had a fair impressive list of cocktails, but keep In mind, none of them were cheap. The waiter did also promise to make whatever drink we liked. I ended up going with the Pisco Sour and my gf had a random drink they made which she really liked. Definitely an awesome bar...reminds me of something great you would see in Brooklyn! It looked like there were a lot of local here!
