This place is horrible. I got there 10 minutes before my appointment and I went in and got a foot and body massage knowing that it wasn't a top notch spot. I wasn't expecting 5 stars but I at least expected a clean area to lay and a clean cover for my body and a little relief from my body. The lady handed me a towel as a blanket and the towels looked used/not cleaned and holes in them. I could barely understand her (she didn't speak clear English). I asked her for clear directions for undressing and how to lay and I was pretty confused. She didn't k ow how to answer...I should've just left right then. Unfortunately, I stayed and my experience just got worse. The lady didn't start my massage until 10 minutes after the time of appointment. I just played there listening to people talk and moan from their treatment-there aren't any full walls between rooms. When the lady finally arrived for my treatment, she was nice but kept burping and it smelt bad. She left to take the water bucket out (from a foot soak) and was gone for another 5-7 minutes. I heard the bathroom door close, later heard the toilette flush and thankfully heard her wash her hands but that cut into my treatment time and was very unprofessional. Once she come back, she finished massaging face up and had me turn over. She continued to burp and cough and I could not relax or enjoy my time. I was just hoping for it to be over soon. She ended 5 minutes early but I was glad to be done. When I went to pay, they only except cash... I tipped her 10% and she was pissed. She demanded I tip her 20%. I told her I didn't want to and that's all I had and she wrote down the tip amount and showed me it-telling me she needs more... I was shocked. (I'm in the service industry as well and you never demand your 20% tip, you get what you get). She pointed at my wallet and asked for more-i did have more but didn't want to give her any since I felt she was undeserving. I honestly should've left but she got rude so I handed her the rest of the tip and left...It was a horrible experience, completely unprofessional, an undeniable treatment and a disgusting environment. I don't know what the deal with this place is, almost every time I try to go there it looks pretty empty but yet they tell me they have no availability. It's strange. I was able to get in once and the foot massage was decent. I've never known a foot massage place that didn't allow walk-ins. And like I said, the place isn't busy and the parking lot empty. Recently moved to Sonoma. Found this place with affordable rates. Not a spa experience. I booked a 2-hr hot-stone massage. Started with 1/2hr foot soak massage then 1.5 hr massage. I've had many but never had a bad massage. The people I hear complaining are not use to a deep pressure. Only once had to back him off. Otherwise good pressure. Found my tight spots. Will go back. A word about COVID. The ceilings are very high. I was never in a room with another person besides the masseuse who wore a mask. read more

Outstanding! I've had well over fifty massage therapists and I'd rank Selina as one of the top 5 easily, provided you enjoy a hard massage with some intense acupressure. Though of small frame she is surprisingly strong and used enhanced the massage with the use of her elbows and feet (she walked on my back with the assistance of bars on the ceiling). I hadn't had a massage in over three months and drove 45 minutes from Tiburon to get here. It was well worth the time. My body has been punished by working in a restaurant with very hard floors where the bar and kitchen are now 150 feet away because we opened the back deck. Fifteen weeks of tension and pain were released out of my body the end of the session and I like a human being again. I have seen reviews saying this place is not clean. That was not my experience. It was still early in the morning, but everything was looked tip top. Overall I'd say the pricing is excellent- $55 for 60 minutes, $70 for 75 minutes, and $90 for 90 minutes. I was a bit disappointed that I arrived late (at 12:10) and paid for 90 minutes but the massage ended at 12:30. This seemed kind of strange since no one waiting and a lot of users complain about waiting up to an hour after their scheduled time for their massage to start. Regardless, this place is great value for money and is well worth a trip for locals and those of us in Marin who can't get a massage locally. read more

Not acceptable! I lost all my respect for this place. My mother and I went here together on Monday and had Leo and Lulu as our reflexologists. Here was my unfortunate experience with Leo: I see that the towels are all messed up and he starts to straighten them out so I say, "it looks like these haven't been changed" and he says "it's been really busy, it's okay" and I'm like what? but I am fully clothed so I think well it's not that big of a deal I guess...? Then as he is massaging me, I felt at the beginning that he was being a little fast-paced compared to what I am used to when I go here (been here many times over the past few years). Then about 25 minutes into the one hour service I start feeling like he's taking an extra long time on my feet compared to all the other times I've been there, but I let it go so I can try and enjoy my massage. But then a few minutes later I feel a vibration and I think...is he on his phone? No... couldn't be...*2nd vibration*...what? That's got to be a phone...?!... After the 4th vibration, I take my eye towel off my face and sit up to see him massaging my leg with one hand and reading an article or texting or something on his phone. "Excuse me but that vibrating is really distracting to me." "Okay" he says. No apology, just an acknowledgement that I had spoken really. From that point on I could not relax, and I was right on how he was spending a long time on my feet (of course, so he could use his phone) as he finished with only about 5 minutes left for me on my stomach (usually there is 15-20 minutes left for the stomach down portion of the massage). During that time I was so upset and I couldn't decide if I wanted to get up early to complain or if I should try to relax, as I did go there to get a massage, and then complain after. Looking back I wish I would have left right then, although I doubt it would have made any difference. When I got out of the massage, my mom was already out there, had already paid and tipped (almost 40%, and with cash) and so I said to the lady asking how my massage was, "we should not have to pay for my massage, and certainly not tipped on, as it was completely inappropriate and unprofessional as my therapist was reading and texting on his phone while massaging me." Her response was "sorry we were very busy so he didn't get a break." "That is not my responsibility or fault, we had appointments, and this wasn't okay." She would not give the money back to my mom, not even the tip. I told her if she didn't fix it that I would leave a harsh review, and she didn't seem to care, so here it is! Don't go here! You will not be treated right if anything goes wrong. read more

I could be exaggerating but I feel this isn't right! I took my mother in law for a massage as a birthday gift. I asked for full body and everything seems fine. What I didn't like was that everyone at some point went in to her room where she was getting her massage and kept speaking so loudly. Mind you she was there with a few pieces of clothing on! What happen to privacy or trying to enjoy the massage. The other part was I paid with my visa and added a tip. I just looked at the bank transaction, the guy gave himself an additional $3 tip! I think I was generous with what I gave him. It's not much what was added but it's the fact they added more with out my knowledge. I made sure to check and see if they had a transaction fee sign, didn't see one. I'm disputing it and good thing I've gotten into the habit of throwing away the receipt only after I see it go through my account correctly. This massage left me worse off than I started. I came here hoping for some foot relief, as my feet bother me a lot. However, the language barrier made it really difficult to communicate where I was hurting and I ended up being massaged on a fractured scapula (yes, the "foot" massage includes a body massage I was not aware of) and my feet still hurt...:( The guy massaging me left three times during the massage, and I'm not even sure if it was him that came back or a different person. Honestly, it doesn't really matter because whoever was giving me the massage was no good. I really wouldn't recommend this place to anybody who has any areas they're concerned about or who doesn't enjoy being mashed. But hey, if you're looking for a cheap massage, and don't mind if it's rough then go for it. You do you. read more

After hearing some positive feedback from multiple locals I decided to give this place a try. I walked in on a Monday to schedule my appointment for Wednesday and there was a bit of a language barrier, but once we broke through that everything else was smooth sailing. I showed up Wednesday for a 45 minute reflexology/45 min massage combo with Kim. Kim was very intuitive and delivered the perfect pressure; I almost asked her to back off a bit but decided to let her work, and I breathed through it. I was sad to learn that Kim only fills in at this location when they're short staffed, so trying to find a regular therapist there could be problematic. I also wished there was some form of communication that a client could have with their therapist, going over any medical issues or what the client is looking to accomplish during their session there. I love this place so much!! It's honestly the most affordable, most wonderful self care spot I've ever found. The one hour foot massage is like a full body massage with extra concentration on the feet. I was performing at SRT Summer Rep Festival last year and I came here weekly to recover from the strenuous dance rehearsals and I make a point to go every time I'm back in town--I mean how could you not for $35?! I've always had a great experience. Pro tip: I wear a tank top and either shorts or stretchy pants that roll up easily because you do a foot soak in the big inning while they massage your arms, shoulders, and upper back. Stood up front for a few minutes and this woman walks out, looks at me like I am dog poo she has to scrape off her shoe. She doesn't say anything...so I say what I am there for. She huffs, rolls her eyes and asks if I have an appointment. At this point I am already done but I answer, "no, I'm sorry I do not". Eye roll AGAIN, huff and says "ok, 3 o'clock" it was only 30 minutes away, but if this is the best face you can put forward to the public, I don't think I want to see what you hide in the back. read more

The worst massage experience I have ever had. Felt like a 5 year old was massaging me. None of my problem areas were addressed. The guy didn't even rub any knots and didn't rub my feet or neck or shoulders. He grabbed hot stones that burned my back and I had to tell him a few times to stop. He then kept clanking the stones together and hitting me with them. His phone also kept going off during the whole time. I am not sure what he did to my lower back but when I was asked to turn over I could barely move as he had threw my back out of place. One minute into the phone call I was told I can't pay through Groupon but only thru them??? Groupon has an amazing deal and perfect to treat my mom for pre Mother's Day outting outside our usual local spa place we love! I was told I had too much of a deal to go through Groupon for this massage and was also told they only hold available spots for locals?? But she was doing me a favor by giving me the spot??? Idk I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire phone call only to be asked about how she herself can get linked to the same deals I was receiving for her own use?? Completely unprofessional to turn mine rightfully down because y'all would take a loss but potentially lost two new clients who go to massages monthly?? From start to finish my experience with this business was horrible. When I got there they did not have my appointment and they kept trying to upsell me from the $35 foot reflexology. I went there primarily because they use the hot stones and I wanted to try them but my massage therapist, Peter was too rough and and the stones were more than a little hot they were uncomfortable. He obviously smokes because he did try to mask it but is he massaged my back I could smell the nicotine on his fingers. When I paid and I left a 20% tip he told me that wasn't enough and I told him I had tipped him 20%. Tipping is something you do on a regular basis I understand but it's for good service you have received. When he noticed I was unhappy he tried to backpedal and even followed me outside asking me to come back another time . I also didn't think it was very clean and the towel smell like like they hadn't been washed. I won't be back ever. I will stick to Soco massage in Windsor. read more

Horrible massage. He literally only used one hand the entire 35min. And half that time he massaged me through a very rough terrycloth towel. I had a gift card and when I went to give it to them the lady at the desk demanded a tip from me. I said "I don't have cash" and she pointed to their card machine and I handed her my card cuz she was demanding I pay a tip and then she said "how much?" And I said "$5" and she literally rolled her eyes at me and I said "well I didn't want to tip anything cuz the massage wasn't very good and he only used one hand. I'm a massage therapist so I know that's not a good massage when they only use one hand. And frankly the fact that you're demanding a tip is also rude. I don't know any place of business that demands tips" and the ladies behind me waiting to go in said "you're right!". Definitely not going back there.
