They make great sandwiches and have excellent ready-to-go options and snacks. The breakfast sandwiches are especially good--way better than the Dunkin' across the street. Best of all, the ladies behind the counter are super friendly and make the trip inside worth it every time.

I moved to Poughkeepsie from Queens, NY, not long ago and this convenience mart was the very first business that I patronized. These good people certainly made a good impression. The last time I purchased a buttered roll at the other Stuertz I couldn't find any butter on it. So I discreetly asked if there was actually butter on this one he said yes, but they have a measured amount. Of course, that makes sense I purchased it went to the car, opened it up and could barely find a New York Schmear. I'd rather they just charge me an extra $.50 and give me some butter on my buttered roll. That's the only downside to today's quick stop
