Yes, this place is more than just a grocery store. It is actually more like a gas station with an extended convenience store. With that the prices aren't always the cheapest, but when you are in dire need of something at the last minute, you really don't care about prices. Speaking of prices, this is usually the cheapest spot along the road for gas prices. There are few and far places along this stretch of road, but it is consistently the cheapest. When I said this was the go to place in the community, I wasn't kidding. When I went to complete my purchase I had to wait for the local gab-fest to end in order to pay. I'm not knocking them for that, but we all know how it is at a place like this. You're an outsider.

This is located right off Route 219, when going north and you exit at Davidsville you are basically right in front of this after you exit. Great location for all travelers. They offer fuel for everyday vehicles and fuel for the many trucks that pass through the area. Inside is a mix or ideas that all somehow work together. The store itself offers many different services. There is fresh made food and deli items available at the counter. There is also ready made food in coolers to grab to ebb your hunger. The offer an array of convenience items to grab and go. Also offered is a limited variety of groceries. You can make this a one stop shop if you want. Grab your milk, eggs, bread, frozen items, seasonings, meats, snacks, condiments, etc. They also offer beer, so if that is your need, you can get it here. They offer PA Skill Games if you want a distraction. There is a small dine in area if you want to eat while here. In all honesty, this was greatly needed in this area. It offers something that you would have to travel a ways to get. There is no real grocery store in the area and this fills that void a bit. I have drove past this on numerous occasions. Where it is located is kind of a surprise. With the tree line and stream, there is nothing at this intersection but this gas station/convenience store. When I saw this, I thought is was your run of the mill country gas station. At the pumps, it is essentially so. But when you go inside it is a bit different. They were able to fit so much stuff inside here that it serves more than just a convenience store. They have an island as the register area. That area has items that you would expect behind the register. Tobacco products and items of the such. When you walk further into the store you find the items that you would expect in a convenience store. But you also find that this can be a corner store if you forgot something. They also had some prepared items, but I can't remember exactly what they were. They also have the skills games that are popping up everywhere you go. The best part of this place are the employees. They may appear and come off as gruff, they are the sweetest employees I have come across. Decent place to visit.

My brother was driving and needed to get gas while we were in the area. He actually went out of his way to come here. Odd, but I understand, I have done in the past. Upon arrival I was told this was an old Sheetz location, which is weird. I'll tell you why it is weird, because when Sheetz moves on from a location they will not sale to what would be considered a competitor, especially in their home town. But maybe this one slipped through the cracks. I guess you can say that this is your typical convenience store. Like 7-Eleven, but with a local twist. Gas prices were the norm for the area. They have the capabilities to make just about everything that any other fast food joint can. My parents in the past have tried the pizzas here and loved them. I was not in the mood for pizza and decided to get a good old fashioned hot dog or two. I went with two chili cheese dogs and fries. Decent sized dogs that were covered in chili and then smothered in cheese. One thing that I noticed they did differently from other places was that they toasted the buns. Kind of an ingenious idea, it holds the toppings better for a longer time. I was really eager to dig into my meal and underestimated how hot this would be. Not sure why I did that because as soon as it was done they brought it right to me. In my eagerness I burnt the roof of my mouth. But it was worth it, really it was.
