I am guessing that the traffic here is not as high as other locations, but this property could definitely use an upgrade. The whole place is pretty small inside and out, especially the parking lot. The lot is very tight to maneuver around, and that is when people park properly. The lot is so bad people often make their own spots, which can make it nearly impossible to maneuver. The one big plus is the gas happens to be very cheap as of the date of this review. I am talking they were $3.35 a gallon when most places in York have been in the $3.50+ range for over a week. Rutters does have a good reputation in York, but this is definitely not their model store.

The biggest thing about this store is it's the only place local to get…read morediesel fuel and there are several trucking companies in the immediate area so if you go into the store you have a great chance of being blocked in until the truck that pulled in leave. I was blocked in for 20 minutes a few days ago By Truckers that pulled in fueled up then went inside ordered their lunch hung out and chew the fat with the employees that do not care to ask the drivers to please move their vehicles from the pumps so other vehicles can get fuel or be able to leave. And don't dare say anything to them about it because you will get an attitude back and the drivers think because they have to keep a log and are under DOT restrictions that it's okay to act this way. I drive past this station every day and rarely stop because there's no way to get in the parking lot. The food is mediocre you get a better quality of food at 7:11 Going 8 Miles up the road to Taneytown or down to Woodsboro is a better bet then dealing with this station. Believe me they could care less about you they have their regulars and that's all they care about.

I opted for mustard, onion and sauerkraut and it was a nice dog with the exception of a slightly soggy bun and that's probably from not adequately draining the kraut. They also offer 2 other versions which is on my hit list for next time. Glad to see Sheetz get a nice sized dog
