This place is great! The ambiance, the selection and more importantly THE STAFF! My boys and I stopped in about a 15 minutes before close on a whim, but you wouldn't have known it! The woman at the register was so friendly and knowledgeable she made our quick visit an amazing one! Definitely stop in for a quick visit! read more

I used to get my cigars there whenever I was in Gettysburg, but I no longer do that. The "woman" working there is arrogant, rude, lazy, impatient, unfriendly, foul tempered and accusatory. She is one of the most unpleasant people I have ever encountered in my life. To think she is representing a business dependent upon customers is mind boggling. I am no youngster and I can tell you honestly that I have never been treated as poorly as a customer in any business as I was by that "woman". I have spent quite a bit of money on cigars at that place through the years. My wife and I go to Gettysburg a lot and sometimes we've even taken the long way home from other places we have visited just so we could stop at that cigar store. Well, they lost a customer and I'm not sure they care. Something is seriously wrong when a business who is essentially asking people to shell out their hard earned money to patronize their establishment feels that it is acceptable to treat customers the way that miserable woman does. Just awful. read more

My husband and I stopped in here to peruse their cigar selection the other day. We both got ourselves the Henry Clay cigar and will be smoking them soon. Didn't have as large of a collection as I was expecting, but wouldn't mind stopping in again the next time I'm in town to see what all they have. read more

Enjoyed a cherry cigar from this shop and the man behind counter was very helpful informative and kind. He also gave us matches to go

Visit Gettysburg every year for Bike Week. This is the my first stop. They have everything you could want. The staff is knowledgeable and customer service is second to none! I will be visiting soon and can not wait. There is noting like smoking a great cigar sipping whisky and celebrating our Patriots and all our Veterans. read more

Stopped by to find vanilla pipe tobacco and walked out with not only an awesome vanilla maple blend but also a new pipe and lighter. The owner gave me a complete tour of all of his stock and educated me on the various blends pipes and was really a great help. My wife was thrilled with the aromatics of the new blend and loved the pipe. A very thoroughly stocked shop and friendly gentleman. Glad I live so close. I will be back often! read more

I visited four cigar shops in the Gettysburg area and this one is, by far, the best. It looks a lot smaller from the outside and it's easy to miss (it's next door to Rita's, if you pass it you've gone too far) but it's a decent size inside and there's a huge selection of really good cigars. Service is extremely friendly and educational. We had a chance to meet Gary, the lovely owner with an awesome beard, and let me tell ya, this guy knows his stuff. Like really knows his stuff! He helped us narrow down what we we're looking for and educated us without being pushy and sales-y...is that a word? Ha! There's nothing made in China here folks (or at least few to none) so if you're looking for a super cheap $5 pipe you won't find that here. Although, he does have an amazing selection of starter pipes for about $29 made in Italy. We skipped those and went for something closer to $100 that we thought, for the quality, was an excellent deal. All the pipes are great quality and all kinds of styles ranging from wood to hand carved clay. Gary also has a really good selection of tobacco including his house blends that he makes himself and works really hard at perfecting. I highly recommend them! We didn't buy any cigars but from what I saw, there were some really really good choices. I'm definitely stopping by here again the next time I'm in the area. Oh and there's also a friendly ghost that breezes through the shop from time to time. He came to visit us while we were there :-) read more

This place reminds me of how family run stores used to be. The staff is friendly and very helpful, no hard sell. I have been buying my pipe tobacco from them for years when I go to Gettysburg, but this year I was running low and was not sure when I could get there. One phone call and my tobacco was ready to ship. To me that is great service. Thank you again for the great and friendly service. Bud read more

This is the place to go in Gettysburg if you're looking to fulfill your cigar desires. The folks here will help you find a cigar to fit your palette. The first thing you notice when you arrive here unlike other cigar shops in Gettysburg, is you get acknowledged upon entering. A friendly hello or what can I do for you, goes a long way. If you want to learn about cigars or are new to it, i recommend taking a small note pad with you ask Gary or Judy nearly any question about the stock and you'll get a very knowledgeable answer from size, length, tobacco blends, flavor, history and origin and much more. I am very new to cigar smoking and don't know much and this is by far the friendliest shop I've been in. Prices are good in my opinion and they do have some lower priced cigars, but if you're here more than likely you weren't looking for a gas station pack of cigarillos. They have pipe tobaccos, humidors and many cigar smoking accessories for sale also. So take a few minutes sit down and try something new or an old favorite. The final plus about this shop is the parking meters in front of the shop are better priced than the ones near the square. You'll be able to have more time to enjoy your cigar and shop. read more

Horrible experience yesterday while visiting the area for an encampment in the area. Was all prepared to buy a box of Battleground cigars and asked the "woman" behind the case about them. Was told they are all the same, just buy one.... attempted to push a Lee size to the end of the cellophane to smell and she flipped out...... told me to leave as I did not know what I was doing in an "up scale cigar store". I attempted to explain the 'nose ' of a cigar to her but she was to ignorant. I purchased the one "smelt" cigar and politely left and will never return. Ignorant and rude. She lost out on $168 purchase of a box of cigars. Went up the road to the square and purchased an outstanding box A Lincoln Battleground cigars from that most pleasant gentleman. Captain read more
