This is a must-visit destination for pipe smokers…read more The selection of tinned and bulk pipe tobaccos is unparalleled, including many terrific Boswell blends (Cherry Smash is a great aromatic and Northwoods is a stellar choice for those looking to get into English blends). Prices are very reasonable, especially for a brick and mortar store. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and mostly friendly (Alex, in particular, is fantastic--and even the more reserved staff members are helpful). One of the best things about visiting the Chambersburg store is the selection of handmade J.M. Boswell pipes, many of which never make it onto the website. The selection and prices seem to be much better in person and I like being able to hold a pipe before I purchase it. Great smoking lounges upstairs with comfortable places to sit and spend time with friends. Highly recommend.

I will not buy any tobacco products at this store ever again. I should be a well known customer…read moresince I have bought cigarettes here since we have lived here spending at least $17 a day and had a customer service rep accuse my 7 year old autistic child of stealing a 25 cent piece of candy. She said repeatedly she was going to call the police on him even though all he had done was pick the candy up (which they conveniently have right at the register) and even after I had paid for it continued to berate us. Some people don't really need to be working in the customer service industry. I am only giving this establishment 2 stars because I like the red haired lady who was actually assisting me. If you go in to this store and happen to see a thin gray/blond older lady hit the hills unless you want to be treated like you are the the scum of the earth.

Worst customer service EVER! Even if there is one employee in the store and they are helping…read moresomeone that employee should be able to multi task and greet customers that walk in or at least acknowledge them. Also giving a customer a display vape that the employee just put their hands all over the mouth piece and never offered to clean it seems pretty unsanitary. Who knows how many people touched that! I had to take a display because the employee spent a whole 60 seconds looking for one in a box because he wanted to sit back down! Laziness at its finest right there! I won't be going back to this place, I don't recommended if you value your time and money!

He stopped ringing me up to answer her questions. This went on for several minutes, until I asked her to please allow the cashier to finish ringing me up and THEN ask him questions. She looked at me with a blank stare and continued to ask him questions. When I complained, she said "I'm not interrupting". This person (Christy) should be re-assigned to the trash detail. There must be thousands of trained seals who can perform her job better than her. I called to report this to the store manager ("Trent"). He could not have cared less. Where do you get all these worthless people? I won't be shopping in your store any more. Have a nice day.

There's pretty much everything you want, although not necessarily need!…read moreThis was a pleasant shopping experience, although a weekday would have been preferable to a Saturday at noon. What i specifically came for was reading glasses which were present immediately on the right upon entrance. They had a decent assortment as well as blue block reading glasses which were 2 for $19.99 whereas the non blue blocker readers were 3 for $19.99. I was disappointed that you couod no longer try on a pair but rather had to utilize a reading chart which was suboptimal. Anyway, I did not come with a shopping list, thus purchasd significantly more of everything than I absolutely needed. Im impressed by the variety of things for sale there including a pharmacy for prescription medications as well as an optician. Im not sure if there was a rhyme or reason to their displays since I saw floor mats immediately adjacent to envelopes, although perhaps i was visiting their miscellaneous aile. $390 or so dollars later, I packed up my vehicle and returned home. I wish that there was a Sam's Club in my town of Gettysburg which does have an old Walmart which is in the process of a refresh. Anyway, a more than decent experience today save for the crowded ailes!
