I asked if they could ship faster than USPS ground as USPS is notorious for being slow and experiencing delays. They gladly shipped my package via UPS ground and it was here in three days (I'm in Arkansas). I'll be doing more business with these folks in the future. In the York, PA area visiting family and noticed this comic shop that was open on a Monday. Decided…read moreto stop by and check it out. Wow! This is one of the nicest comic/action figure/misc stores I have ever seen. Layouts were clear and grouped by interest. Displays were carefully designed with the collector in mind. The amount of stock is great, especially back issues. I saw something I've never seen before - ECs from the 50s!! One area that I am still collecting. Most stores only carry the later reprints. Nice, but none that I need at the time. There are separate displays for comics, magazines, action figures, sals items, suggested reading, and a nice area just for kids with a great selection. The manager was helpful, and very knowledgeable, and we had great conversations. There are multiple areas marked for sales prices, including several boxes of low priced comics and magazines. And especially of note: I read recently of the difficulty of finding new packs of Pokemon cards. Some dealers were charging $9 to $13 for the new packs, due to shortages. Comic Store West has them for $6, with a limited amount you can buy. That alone tells me a lot about caring and watching out for the consumer. If you are in the York area looking for comics, this should definitely be your first stop! Highly recommended.

But it's their service that really shines. They kept my game safe in storage for over 8 months until I was ready to take delivery. When I said go, they personally trucked in my game from Pennsylvania to the Chicagoland area with friendly TLC set-up. I had a flipper bumper band snap over the weekend so I called them, spoke with Jay, and he hooked me up with a pair of new ones ASAP. He dropped them in the mail within an hour free of charge. Now that's rock star customer service!!

I have dealt with other refurbished machines and this was the best one that I have received when it comes to operation and aesthetic of the machine. Also, it did not go unnoticed of how helpful and friendly Gene and Jay were. I forget the other mechanics name ***SORRY*** but they were all fantastic. We had a slight bump in the road with the card reader but they did not allow me to leave the facility until it was fixed and in less than 20 minutes they figured it out and was good to go. Emailed them a couple days later about installation of additional parts on the machine that I wanted installed and promptly responded with DETAILED explanation of how to install myself. Will be coming back to do business for any and probably all my further needs in the gaming industry and I am from NYC. That should speak volumes on its own. Thanks fellas! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I will not buy any tobacco products at this store ever again. I should be a well known customer…read moresince I have bought cigarettes here since we have lived here spending at least $17 a day and had a customer service rep accuse my 7 year old autistic child of stealing a 25 cent piece of candy. She said repeatedly she was going to call the police on him even though all he had done was pick the candy up (which they conveniently have right at the register) and even after I had paid for it continued to berate us. Some people don't really need to be working in the customer service industry. I am only giving this establishment 2 stars because I like the red haired lady who was actually assisting me. If you go in to this store and happen to see a thin gray/blond older lady hit the hills unless you want to be treated like you are the the scum of the earth.
