They have everyday specials and Monday was $1 off a melt, I checked the menu and decided to go with just a simple grilled cheese. It turned out a little More than "simple", I asked for all the different cheeses on my sandwich... which were then toasted and when it came out I had them put tomatoes, onion and pickles on. It was really very good! It was also a great deal, $5 minus $1.00 and I had a nice sandwich for $4 + tax! You can add on chips and a drink and anything else since this convenience store had plenty of options to choose from.

This time I started at the gas pump, where I got a discount for purchasing a wash at the same time. (You get a bigger discount if you're an unlimited monthly member, but I don't come often enough to justify that.) I asked the interior cleaning whether I should get the wash first and they told me if I did I'd get a complimentary wax. I literally "ooh-ed," and followed their advice. It was a little busier than I thought it would be on a weekday afternoon, but everything went fast. Other drivers in the car wash line were cooperative in merging. I finished with the interior clean. All of the Delta Sonic staff were very nice. There's a waiting area with some tables inside the convenience store where you can sit while you wait for your car. I grabbed a snack and got to work. Like 20 minutes or so, my car was done. This time I noticed they were a little sloppier than in past times - there was still some pet hair and some crumbs visible in my interior, which is kind of annoying if I'm paying $40. I didn't notice until after I'd already left, probably should check better next time. On the whole though it did look cleaner and I was very happy with the service.

The old miserable lady behind the counter was enough for me to never give this place business again. I explained that I had a fleet card for fuel purchases only and it wasn't working outside. She said "how much" I said "fill it please" (I am from New Jersey and we can't pump our own gas, so I don't know how this works) she said "nope gonna need a set amount" so I said a number. She proceeds to ring up my drink as well. I said no that has to be separate like I said this is a fuel card only. She huffs and puffs and goes "ALRIGHT go ahead" the card declines for fuel so I said you know what forget it I'll call dispatch just please ring me up for the drink. At this point she is now talking over to me to the customer behind me in line. She never said another word not a have a nice day nothing. I have never met such a miserable hag before her. Makes sense that all she was worth in life was being a cashier at a run down gas station!

It was not a busy time with customers. Come here if you want to wait an absurd amount of time and feel like you were a bother.
