That aside, prices are usually pretty good. The lot is a bit tight and this location gets pretty busy. There is also a Tim Horton's drive-thru and a car wash located on the property. Just a note, they recently changed their credit system and there is no reference mentioned for "credit" only for "debit" when you insert your card. I selected the "debit" on the left of the screen (a second debit reference is on the right side of the screen) and it did process my card as credit.

Food and drink is reasonably priced. Staff is friendly. Manager is great; I have even gone in and paid for gas and then got in my car without pumping and drove home, realizing my error as I got to my street. I went back to the store and the manager fixed my silly mistake. There is also a Tim Hortons here and a drive through car wash (I have not used it so I can't comment on this). If you use the car wash, you can save some change on the cost of gas.

Why can't everyone have those? They do everywhere else in the country! It's at a difficult intersection but there is plenty of space and lots of pumps and it's quite convenient. There is nothing remarkable about this spot at all except that it's close to Brennans (awful food), Brewpub (good wings), and a guy named Bert that sleeps on the bench by the bus stop whenever he can't remember his way home. It's right in the middle of all the places that I usually go to at North Forest and Maple and it has average priced gas or sometimes slightly higher. I was last here about 2 weeks ago to sneak an iced tea for myself (Upstate Farms) which I don't usually drink anymore, but once in awhile it's not the end of the world. The guy that works here is really nice and I like to come here for gas once in awhile because they are such nice people. Plus it's open around the clock and conveniently located in an area with not much open late at night. I live about 10 mins from here. What I like about this store, despite the iffy service, is that they sell the Upstate Farms Iced Tea (Lemon) that I used to be addicted to. Most places don't. And I really appreciate that, as it's amazing iced tea. Still, the gas here is pretty pricy so I can't give it a 5. But the excellent service and the iced tea ensure it scores a very healthy 4. Be very careful in this parking lot in the winter... it gets icy, and becomes like walking on a hockey rink.

I made the huge mistake of looking up while I was pumping my gas and I saw some of the hugest sharpest looking spiders ever in huge webs all over the top of the pump and roof... I literally just got the willies remembering how menacing they looked (I have an irrational fear of spiders). But I'm glad they were there and not in my yard or around my house... Blech! If you're nuts like me, don't look up. Well, maybe you should because then you'll know that nothing is about to fall on your head. Or maybe it is...
