J&J Auto replied in less than 10 minutes on a Sunday; had an appointment less than 24 hours of contacting them; and came to us! Only feedback I can give: (1) share available options for payment in advance of appointment - there was no tapper for a credit card, but they accepted Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, etc; and (2) be more thorough with vacuuming out the glass debris from the car. Still a 5-STAR experience though - thanks, J&J and Jose, for an easy time getting our car window replaced and back on the road so quickly!

The windshield chip we had was a pretty bad one and several shops had told us that there was a "50/50 chance" that a repair would work. It would have been better to put the tape on the trim not the paint. I called and spoke with Gina. She denied any responsibility and then later offered to pay half. I called my ins company. Gina agreed to the full repair. Soon after the trim on the driver side blew off. I called Gina to schedule the painting and trim repair and she reversed saying that they would pay 50% of the paint repair and the trim was "wear and tear." When I disagreed and stated my ins policy she replied "you are yelling at me and I am going to hang up." I am shocked that this is how a representative for any business would behave.

Shortly after the replacement, I noticed a blob‑shaped area of chipped paint right next to the windshield--damage that was absolutely not there before. It seems likely that adhesive, glue remover, or another product was spilled during the installation and wiped off, which didn't show immediate damage but caused the paint to chip days later. When I reached out to them, I spoke to Gina at the office she immediately sent me their "after" photos to claim there was no damage at the time of service. While that may have been true in the moment, the issue clearly developed as a result of their work. They took no accountability and made no effort to make things right. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Glass America.
