I absolutely loved this massage spa, because coming from the Bay Area, I grew up with these foot spas. I had moved to Denver searching for Foot Spas, and was successful. Now, moving to Ohio, was worried I'd move to an area where I wouldn't find the best deal for a 1-hour massage. I used to pay $40 for 1-hr in my previous locations, but it's absolutely exceptional for $50 for 1-hour here! I always get the 1-hr foot spa for $50-starts with hot water soaking your feet, and a head massage. Don't be afraid to tell your massager where you need more attention--they'll remember! I was very impressed for we went in my birthday, and my boyfriend had no idea what he was walking into. He enjoyed the massage, as we were in a public but private area to where we peacefully got our massages. We were massaged with hot stones as well (I don't care for that as much), but it was immensely satisfying and very similar to the other foot spas I've been to. What a great experience for a very affordable rate! I got the "combo c" which was a lovely foot massage and a body massage. The back room has a very quiet chill vibe. You'd never know you were in a room with many other people being worked on. My therapist gave me a tub of hot water to soak my feet and did an initial massage of my head, shoulders, and arms. Then she toweled off my feet and worked on them. Her hands were so strong and I felt a huge weight lifted as she worked my feet. Then she reclined the little chair, and worked on my legs, then my arms. She then whispered, "turn over for your back" and the chair turned into a little bed with a face hole like massage tables do! Blew my mind! She worked on my shoulders and back and I felt like new! For a massage place that accepts walk-ins, this place was pretty great. Great place to visit for a self care day. I enjoyed an hour long massage in a private room that was tucked off in the back. The room was very clean and there was aromatherapy being used to help keep the atmosphere relaxed. The staff was wonderful and my massage therapist did an amazing job. He listened to me and made sure I was comfortable with the pressure which I appreciate. I was so relaxed I even feel asleep a little during my session. Massage was nice. The area I was in was part of another "room" only separated by a curtain. They tried using the hot stones but they were way too hot to be enjoyable, Refused them immediately. I saw a similar review about tipping. They were watching me closely as I tipped and signed the receipt. Wasn't very fond of that either. Not sure if I would go back or not. read more

The service was fine, but found it very rude that the lady at the front desk made a comment about the tip amount, even though it was the recommended amount as shown on the sign. A tip is just that. If tips are required, they need to be added into the price and not accepted. Other than that, a tip is just that, its extra, and there should never be any pressure or comment made around the amount of the tip nor the requirement to tip. read more

Good massage--bad atmosphere. I went here with my boyfriend for a couple's massage. Immediately, we were lead into a large room of many beds where someone else was already receiving a massage. We thought this would be a private room massage like at a different Sunny's Foot Spa location. Already a little uncomfortable. The masseuses were in constant conversation with one another. It was hard to relax with them constantly talking and the grunting of the other man being massaged in the same room as us. For the second part of the massage, we were moved into a private room. During this time, a manager came into the room to talk to the masseuses. Maybe this seemed normal to them but my boyfriend and I were both mostly nude and very uncomfortable. When we checked out, the manager was rude to us for having a Groupon despite me mentioning it on the phone. Additionally, there was a required tip amount. I was unhappy with the experience and wanted to tip less but couldn't. Overall, the massage was relatively cheap and felt nice but I would never recommend this place to someone else. read more

The massage was VERY rough and painful, even after multiple attempts at telling them to go lighter, stop, etc. I don't think they understood. Maybe some people like this intense pressure, but my boyfriend who normally does also said it was too rough. The entire hour I was just waiting for it to be over. I have been looking for this kind of foot spa since moving here last year. Sunny's has affordable prices for a great massage AND they take walk-ins. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon and had a combo A - 60 minutes of feet and body - for $45 - no waiting. The foot and combo massages are done with clothes on so no awkward undressing - just take your shoes off, roll your pants up above the knees for the preliminary hot foot soak, and relax. Tip: wear comfy/stretchy clothes because they will massage through the clothing and stretch your arms and legs. The space is peaceful and clean. I will definitely be back! read more

This place is a hit or miss. It really depends on who is working that day. The first time I came, it was amazing! The staff was very friendly and my masseuse was great at checking in and maintains firm pressure. The second time I came, the masseuse needed constant reminder to maintain pressure (which can be awkward because you're in a room with a lot of people and don't want to disrupt others). The woman working the front desk was abrasive. It is a 29.99 massage. I was going to give a $6 tip which is 20% but she loudly told me that I should give ten dollars and that is what she would charge me. I was embarrassed and said ok. Coming from a service family, I really dislike when people ask for more tip. Thinking back, that tip was also egregiously high. I'm not sure if I'll be back. read more

One of the best massages I've ever had. Exterior and lobby not attractive, but the massages are excellent. FYI, employees do not speak much English and the "full body" massage apparently does not include feet. It focuses heavily on back and is FIRM pressure. I read about this place months ago, and wanted to try and finally got to go. I mean, an hour session for $29.99? What a steal. I do want to point out that the coupon on here, Yelp, it says that you could have it for $10. That really excited me, however that's not the case. They only took $10 off the original price, which is $40 apparently. So really... I just ended up paying $29.99 as usual. Uhhhhhh shady but OK. I still enjoyed the experience. The place is pleasant. They dim the lights in the back room, and the tables you are massaged on are very comfortable. I do want to note that this is an Asian massage, not a massage in a spa that you might get in America. That being said, as long as you like having your muscles manipulated you will like it. Also, they don't really guide you through everything that's happening. In addition to the foot spa I received a back and neck massage as well. If you don't like deep pressure massages then this is not the place for you. So this place was not super impressive on the outside but it's nice on the inside. I called ahead and made sure I could come with my friend and get a foot/body massage at the same time. We selected the $39.99 foot+body 60 minute massage and I asked my guy to not do my shoulders, and just my feet, back and neck. I started sitting up on the ottoman with a nice foot soak and had work done on the knots on my upper back and middle back, with some arm stretches. (Massages are done fully clothed.) My friend had the female masseuse and she started laying on her back with a towel draped over her and had her arms and hands worked on first. Then I was switched to the recliner with my feet propped on the ottoman and laid back for a very thorough foot massage. So much attention to every single part of the foot. It was awesome! Very deep pressure a few times that was a little intense, but I didn't say anything and if it had continued I would have spoken up. After my feet and calves were finished, they draped a towel and did my upper leg. After I turned over and the guy massages my back, neck, head and legs. My friend and I both had good experiences and would go back. We both came out relaxed, loosened up, and felt it helped with our sore muscles. I debated about leaving a negative review, but if I can spare anyone the pain I experienced after my massage I feel it is my responsibility to do so. I decided to get a massage and didn't want to wait more then a week at the place I normally go to, so I saw Sunny's Foot Spa and decided to give it a try. I like deep tissue massage, but I don't want to walk away with a bruised back. Not only bruised, but I had serious traveling back pain for two days after. My first visit I went with a groupon because I got a really good price. They speak very little English but provide so much for your money! It's not just a foot massage, I got the 60 minutes it included stone massage warm towels and back arm and shoulder massage . It is definitely not a soft pressure massage but if you like deep tissue it's heaven! If you want less pressure you can let them know before the massage one lady seems to speak more English. I got a ten dollar discount card at the end of my normally $40 massage for next time. I just got my second massage just as great as the first and $ 30 is a great price for an hour of great service. Booked an appointment online over Fathers day weekend. Purchased the combo package which included 30 minute foot and 30 minute back. The massages were great! Note* The common area is open for most massages, you are with other people but everyone is respectful and quiet. With the combo package they started with my feet, which included a quick soak, massage, hot stone rub and dry down. The lead up: We ran 6-7 minutes late because of the construction on York so we received a sharp phone call asking if we were coming for our appointment or not. When I said that we were caught in construction but would be there in a minute, the gentleman's tone changed and he was very understanding. They must have quite a few no-shows. The service: we did the 1 hour foot and body massage. It was amazing. So relaxing. The pressure was the kind of heavy that is two notches from painful, but I enjoy that. Definitely not light by any means. I would assume that you could ask them to lighten the pressure if needed. It wasn't weird at all to share the large room with others. No one made any noises except for the occasional entry or gathering of things to exit. Pro tip: since the massage is over your clothes, wear pants that can be rolled to knee height and a shirt/sweater that isn't too thick. Also, I'd recommend removing any necklaces or rings in advance. They will work around your jewelry for the hand and neck massages, but it would have made it easier if I'd just left it at home or put it in my purse ahead of time. read more

Wow. Best $30 I've spent in a long time. The place is in a kind of sketchy outlet mall but don't let that deter you. I was able to walk right in and whisked into the back for my foot soak and massage. They didn't really explain anything to me which was kind of weird but I just went with it-- and I'm glad I did. First they started with warm foot soak and upper body massage. Then she massaged my feet and lower legs with hands then hot stones. Lastly she transitioned the recliner into a massage table and worked on my back. Be warned: the massage is fully clothed and there are people next to you but they keep it dark and quiet so you can relax. They charge less if you use cash.
