Wish I could go here every day. I did the 60-minutes course. It began with a head/neck massage while I soaked my feet in warm water. You will probably get lotion in your hair, so don't plan to go anywhere afterward with nice hair . I recommend tying your hair up in a ponytail or bun. Then my arms were massaged, then they spent a good amount of time on my lower legs and feet. Then we finished with a nice back/full-body massage. My session began with one gentleman, then halfway through I noticed that it was a woman so maybe there was a shift change. The woman's name was Anna and she was wonderful. as soon as you walk in to check in you get a water and cute little seating area while you wait usually they take you as soon as it hits your appointment time mine was at 4 today and I brought my cousin for her first time this is probably my fifth time and will recommend it to everyone. I used to see HEIDI at RG Foot in Montrose. She is gone now. I've been to her a few times w/o any incident. She was awesome. HOWEVER, last week I saw a man - who did not speak much English....and his massage on my low back/kidney area was almost too deep - that it hurt. Monday, I experienced low back soreness and blood in my urine. THANKFULLY it was a one time occurrence but no doubt due to the intense deep pressure points the masseuse gave. I will not be going back. I couldn't convey him to go lighter - due to the language barrier. read more

Three of us stopped in Saturday after having lunch in the plaza. They were unable to let us walk-in, but we were able to set an appointment for today at 2 p.m. I'm including a lot of details, so if you've never had a professional massage, you know exactly what to expect. It is extremely quiet in the space, and very small. I was a little nervous, because they didn't really ask us any questions... they took the three of us past a few identical rooms, and put two of us in one and the third in another. The whole thing was really different than anything else we've experienced. They had us sit, take our shoes and socks off, and brought two foot tubs with hot, scented water. The next thing we knew, the lights were off, and they were laying us back in the massage chairs. While our feet soaked, they massaged the face and neck, including an incredible scalp massage! They moved on to the arms & hands, which was fantastic, and far more involved than I expected for a reflexology specialist. The foot massage was out of this world, and just when I thought we were finished, they laid us all the way down and had us flip over, giving us a full back & shoulder massage. I cannot stress enough how great they did on myself, as well as my two sons. I did not catch any of the names of the three masseuses, as they left as soon as we were finished, leaving only the counter person. We were charged for the 1 hour special, which was only $40 each! I had a great experience after my hour session. For those who might not be familiar with massage places like this, this is very typical for Asian foot massage/reflexology spas. This spa is clean and comfortable. Calming. Staff is friendly and professional. I love that they don't use too much oil during the massages. Easy parking. Tips for first time goers - you will stay dressed for the massage since there are no private rooms. Wear pants you can easily pull up (or shorts), because yours feet will be soaked in a warm bath. Wear cloths that are thin enough that the therapist can massage through. Avoid zippers and buttons. read more

Do not waste your $$ or time going here. I went hoping for a great foot massage and found out that they also do shoulders, neck, arms, and hands when you do a hour. I thought great that will be nice addition. While my feet are soaking he started the massage. What wasn't told or asked is can they use oil/lotion on my entire face $ it also got in my hair. The lotion wasn't pleasant smelling and didn't help me relax (they could have used something with a nice smell to enhance the experience) While doing the shoulder massage he didn't use enough lotion so now my skin is burning and sore. The foot massage I had hoped to be great wasn't. I've never had one where I left feeling no difference than when I arrived. After that they flatten chair and have you roll on your stomach and do a over the clothes back massage. His technique was very hard and I asked if he could do it softer because it was hurting and he said yes but then would go right back to being to rough. I yelled out ow couple times but that didn't work either. After I did tell the gentleman at front desk and he told that's his Chinese massages are. I've had many massages at similar places and when I flinched, jumped or stiffened because not comfortable they immediately stopped and adjusted their techniques but he didn't he keep going. I've never yelled ow before either. By the time I was half way home I was itching and my skin burning. And now I sit not feeling relaxed and just feeling bruised, sore and itching. I know I should have walked but kept hoping it would improve. Wasn't worth my money, time or pain. Go to the place at Great Lakes or somewhere else at least you'll feel good when you leave! Update ******* Next day I still feel bruised, sore and itching. I went in and was able to get a full refund. The owner apologized and gave me a gift certificate (not sure I want to risk and go again) but appreciated his effort read more

I had read all the reviews and decided I needed to go. I went by myself. It was quiet and not very busy early in the morning. It was amazing. They used a fair amount of pressure. I should have asked for lighter pressure, but I never complain about anything. My back feels so much better. This may sound crazy, but I swear I even feel lighter. Awesome experience! I have been a custom of Rg Foot Spa over couple years. This place is quiet and neat. The people are nice. The massagers are very professional. They may not talk much or ask much. But they all are very skillful. I personally like male massagers since they can be hard or soft. I have great experiences with them all the time. Wayyyy too rough. If you have had any type of should neck or back issues ever this is definitely not the place for you. I have not had any types of issues but it just plain hurt. I have had many many massages, (whole body and foot during spa pedi) (even deep tissue) and it has never ever hurt like that. Wouldn't recommend. read more

THE PHOTOS ON THIS YELP PAGE ARE MISLEADING! This must be another location because this isn't the location on Mayfield. Brought my Uncle from out of town here. The experience wasn't what I thought it would be. They advertise it as a luxury foot spa but it really janky, empty, disorganized and misleading. Chinese herbal foot soak? Nope. Just a bamboo bucket with a cheap tea bag in lukewarm water. They also switched therapist out during our hour. Then when finished, they begged for a tip! My uncle is also older and they assigned him to a man therapist! They punched our legs and feet at the end of our massage and that really pissed my uncle off. (He's foreign and didn't understand why they did that) also without my permission she tried to rub oils on my face! I had on makeup! So unprofessional. It my previous experience with other spas, they explain the treatment they give you. This place needs to be moved to a kiosk in the malPlease find somewhere else to receive foot therapy. Today was my first visit, after my mother recommended this place. I was having a particularly stressful day and wanted to get out of the house. I called 45 mins before they closed and they were more than happy to accommodate me for 60 min service. The staff is very friendly and I loved the spa's set up. Very clean, organized, and quiet. The special chairs you sit in are like recliners but ten times better! The service itself lasted the entire 60 mins of constant relaxation. It is reflexology, so portions of the service become uncomfortable, but only for a few seconds. If it becomes too much, just ask to lighten up! I will be coming back here on a weekly basis! read more
