If you want to stay in a hotel and have options for your family or group other than being forced to stay in your room, PLEASE do yourself a favor and AVOID this hotel! BEST thing here? I told the employees I don't smoke cannabis or even vape. The employee insisted and joked about it. And persisted that I sit in the back because he was going to smoke weed. At a rest stop before getting to our location and before he could actually smoke the weed, I reported it to Steven, the manager, who insisted that it is going to become legal soon in the state of Delaware, where recreational cannabis without limitation is legal. But insisted his drivers were not going to smoke weed. They told me they were, so I told him what they said. he spinned a little bit and went around the question and tried to questioned whether i wanted the job or not, some shit out of training day. When I tried to explain to him more that I did not want to ride with the weed smokers, he drove off and left me there with them. I told them I was not getting in, I walked back to the job, picked up my bike, and quit. They seem genuinely interested in learning about your story. And if you should ever return, they remember details and want to know what has happened in your life since your last visit. The accommodations are comfortable and quaint. This is after all their primary residence. The inn feels lived in but not precious, not stuffy. Bought flowers on Monday at Ava's, needed them delivered by Christmas Eve on a Thursday to my mom…read more They charged me 94$, including 14$ shipping and on Thursday they called and said they couldn't get the flowers delivered. They were supposed to arrive on the day I bought them (Monday). Completely screwed me over. They offered no compensation for being 4 days late on a delivery and said they could get it there the Monday after Christmas (a week late and pointless at that point) and STILL charge me 14$ for shipping. Also throughout the week they gave me NO indication that the flowers might not make it, leaving me stranded at the last second on Christmas Eve to find a new solution. In desperation I called Jen Mor, the guy working told me they were closed and all deliveries were done, BUT I told him my parents address and he said he would get them over there. He arrived 30 minutes later and to quote my mom "these are the best flowers I have ever seen". And they were 30$ cheaper than Ava's. He went out of his way to deliver flowers after they were already closed on Christmas Eve, it was a Christmas Miracle. I'm Jen Mor for life.
