You would think a surgery like this, would be place in some high street, or shopping centre where the foot-fall is high, but its not. It would be hard to describe the location, just that its on Terrace road? where is Terrace road... exactly. The surgery front looks bright and glossy with large glass windows and doors. layout. Sign board - big and bold black and green, very similar look to Foxtons. First visit - was a consultation visit and I have to say I am impress, very high-tech, Screens on the ceiling, on the wall, a tablet and a computer all to make the experience - easy to understand and pleasurable, lets be honest - who likes receiving bad news about their teeth. The staff are kind and friendly, and made me feel at ease. Subsequent visits have been just as good, no hassle, very flexible and very professional. I have been to other dental surgeries previously before changing to here, it is a completely different experience, I had to chase appointments, been given loads of flyers and pamphlets, the surgeries themselves have seen better days. I believe not all, but most dental surgeries, chemists and post offices are the last to revamp, re-modernise, and to embrace new technology and its a shame, almost neglected. I am glad this dental surgery has taken the step for this part of the community. There is a high demand here unfortunately, so going private would probably get you seen quickly. The prices are also slightly higher than most places, but you get what you pay for, and I enjoy the higher level of service here.

The dentist, (won't call him DR - does not deserve that status) duped me in to buying their braces treatment, persuading me that he was an orthodontist infact, it transpires that I was given the braces treatment by the dentist, who was NOT an orthodontist by trade, but an amateur, incompetent, inexperienced and uneducated so called dentist. His practice manager, lied throughout the process when I approached her about the disparity in the treatment expectations. In a nut shell, this practice is selling braces treatment at the cost of a professional orthodontist would, but the treatment is performed by incompetent dentists who have no further knowledge of orthodontics - (you need further education of 3 years to qualify as an orthodontist!!!). Please avoid at all costs. These so called professionals are NOT what they claim to be and their contracts and practices are so abhorrent it beggars belief they can get away with it. There is NO Tender Loving Care when it comes to the practice robbing you of your hard earned money! DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR FABRICATED FEEDBACK glorifying their services.

I had a completely awful experience here. They operated and left an instrument in my tooth (which…read moreis apparently not altogether uncommon so could be forgiven) however they refused to pay to fix it. I had to pay for the dentists mistake. On top of that they filled in the tooth with the instrument inside which caused serious pain after a few weeks and the cap fell off to leave me with a chipped tooth which I ended up paying a fortune to repair. Again errors happen but I was completely insulted and unimpressed with how they handled it. Spoke to both the dentist and management at the time. my issue is more with the management than with the dentist. So rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend this place at all.

Before I could get public transport directions I was cut off. The manager's attitude was...... Not our problem. We were offered an appointment for 2pm (Two and a half hours later) the same day but with no guarantee that we would be seen then. It seems like those NHS customers take a back burner with this dental company, I doubt that what I was told was the truth. Web sites show that this company has a pretty bad reputation and I assume that they take on NHS customer for the extra business and cash that it generates. All complaints seem to have the same standard reply; this goes to show their contempt at all NHS clients. If your dentist says that they have to refer you to an external dentist please enquire as to whom they will send you to and please avoid this cavalier company. I was given the name of Sabena but I doubt if this is a real person considering that they had already lied to me.

I have been using William Place Dental since I moved to the area four years ago. I have seen the…read moresame dentist every time I have visited (usually every 6 months as I have a problem with my jaw) which is great; continuity of care is a rarity in the NHS and it makes so much difference to me to build up a rapport with medical professionals. The receptionists, my dentist, and all of the nurses who have assisted with my appointments have always been lovely. Especially my dentist who I trust implicitly always has time to explain things to me on my level and lets me jump around to see my X-Rays when they are taken (yearly, as standard NHS preventative care) as I'm always curious to see (I study human biology). The practice offers both NHS and private care. I have used both services and I have always been very pleased with them. The building itself is very nice - quite newly built (or refurbished). The waiting room is nice (although you might want to bring a book) and the treatment rooms are really very nice - all the mod-cons (as far as I am aware!) and much nicer than several other dentists I have been to. I usually opt for early morning appointments as that usually guarantees you will be seen with the least delay (I forgive them in the evenings if there's a bit of a wait - I assume my dentist cares for each patient individually and provides the care they need be it on a shorter or longer time than allocated (15mins per patient). I would recommend to everyone and anyone in the area. I always leave my dentist happy that I've received VIP treatment.

The dentist is very personable which is always a bonus, and she is honest and straight forward about treatment needed. as a previous extremely anxious dentist goer since joining her practice i no longer have any anxiety and trust her completely. all treatment i have had has been money well spent .
