Just plain arrogant and rude
My son's appoint was cancelled once and rebooked. The day before they rang me in the afternoon to confirm that I would attend with my son to which I said yes. Before I could get public transport directions I was cut off. Anyway the next day we made our way there with a twenty minute walk (took over an hour and a half) only to be told that the appointment was cancelled, I mentioned that when I received the call the previous afternoon, I could've been told then and that it would've saved us the journey. The manager's attitude was...... Not our problem. We were offered an appointment for 2pm (Two and a half hours later) the same day but with no guarantee that we would be seen then.
It seems like those NHS customers take a back burner with this dental company, I doubt that what I was told was the truth. Web sites show that this company has a pretty bad reputation and I assume that they take on NHS customer for the extra business and cash that it generates. All complaints seem to have the same standard reply; this goes to show their contempt at all NHS clients.
If your dentist says that they have to refer you to an external dentist please enquire as to whom they will send you to and please avoid this cavalier company.
