Came out twice to fix my AC both times only worked for a few weeks. Now we are just having to buy another unit. We could have done that in the first place instead of spending over $1000 to fix. read more

Brandon completed a very through inspection of HVAC, even reapplied wire the correct way to avoid any mechanical problems. After he did his mechanical inspection, our hvac blowing at 58-60 degrees compared to nearly 75-78 before he arrived. Great job and very satisfied. Sunny Service is reasonable and fair and professional. read more

Sunny Service - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Hurst, Texas

I used this company before with GREAT results (A tech named Brandon came and was great! Came out and checked both units and put in the filters I gave him. We talked about maintenance and he was out in under 2 hours. So I called them again for maintenance. Brandon came (a different Brandon) and he was professional and very nice. I just needed maintenance. I gave him the filters to replace the ones in my two systems. After inspection Brandon found that the pan was full on my down unit and the drain for it was plugged. He also said I would be charged double because I had two systems, while before I had regular price. The charge for two systems plus draining the pan was $300. I liked Brandon. The whole time Brandon was here doing maintenance he had the unit set at 68, it was very very cold!!! After Brandon left, I found the lower air was not working. I tried a few things with the thermostat and called Sunny and booked another (follow-up) apt. Jeremiah came the next day at 10AM. He was prompt and professional. He popped the thermostat off (which had not been done yesterday) and checked the inside unit. He then asked to look at the outside unit. He said the wiring was wrong on the outside unit and that when Brandon had fixed the drain, he had rewired it wrong. The unit was kicking on and then shutting off. Jeremiah called for advice from the company. I asked if a senior tech could come out and put it back the way it was yesterday when it was running great. Justin from Sunny called (who is a manager). He advised that it should be fixed and that it was rewired wrong. Lower unit is off and Jermiah is still working on it. I will update this review after they get it fixed and I do not have to call them back. Apparently when the system was "fixed" yesterday, but it was wired back incorrectly. After Jermiah worked on it (and rewired the outside unit), the air appears to be fixed (Thank you!!) but the thermostat appears to be stuck on a higher number. I asked him if a sensor could have been damaged when he popped it off, but he said it just needed to sit in the cool air for a while to register (he was here for at least a half hour and it did not go down). Update: I set the system on auto and it seems to be working for now. Took 4 hours to work. I did asked the manager for comp for the extra day due to the error in wiring and extra day of work and have not heard on it. Final analysis: No one with senior skill levels. Professional and nice young techs. This not only cost me the $300 but two days salary. If I was a rich person I would pay for them to have a few days training.....they have the soft skills and are very good people, just need more comprehensive tech skills. read more

We had a very old unit, 12 Seers I believe, that needed to be updated. We went through Costco and they sent out Sunny Service. I am more than pleased with the professionalism, price, and attention given us by every person involved in new installation. During our consultation, Brendon walked through the house and did measurements of every room and calculated the correct size we needed for our new unit. No one else did this, and his size was the smallest of the quotes(and smaller than what we had) we had gotten from other places. He was so patient with me. When I was concerned about his measurement being the smaller of the units quoted, he had another gentleman come out and remeasure, coming up with the same size. I can not stress this enough, MAKE SURE YOUR CONTRACTOR MEASURES BY DOING A MANUAL J / MANUAL D AS REQUIRED BY THE ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America) Brendon did everything to regulation standards. And I can say, even though the other contractors all said this size was wrong and wouldn't work, it has. It is very common to get too big a unit because they don't take the time to measure like it is required. We also decided to have our duct work redone. Ended up they moved the location of the new unit in the attic to make it more accessible, hung it, and made a new vent hole. I was surprised by how much extra work they ended up doing for the original quoted price. There was never any communication problems and they wore masks and shoe covers. Of course during installation is such extreme heat of an attic, they can't wear masks. Not a problem for me. They are not perfect, they are human. A knee went through our ceiling and a step on our old wooden ladder broke. But they are taking care of it and I get a new ladder that's up to code, so even the bad is a win for me. They did miss cleaning a couple of rooms, but what they did clean was very clean. You can tell this company has great work ethics and cares about their reputation. I will be recommending them to others. read more

I own several homes and have needed several services. I've had awful to great service. Michael from Sunny Service is by far the best I have ever had. He was professional, thorough, with superb attention to detail and very knowledgeable. I not only recommend him but encourage you to personally request his services from Sunny Service. Bravo Michael. Sean, keep and promote this outstanding technician. read more

The initial reason I had a service call, was because my heater stopped working. It turned out to be a fried contact. I was quoted $495 for to replace. I don't know what A/C parts cost, so I accepted the job. While the technician was on site for service, I asked him if he would please swap out the old thermostat with a new one. I provided the new thermostat. He said he would. He quoted me $139 labor, for the job. I agreed, because I didn't know what that entailed. It took the tech 10-15 min. to swap it out. That is $556-$695 per hour. I feel like I was taken advantage of. Now I'm not sure if I was taken advantage of with the contact replacement. read more

Started with a early morning phone call (7:15am) spoke with Sean and decided I needed a comfort advisor to come out and discuss our replacement options. Brendon came out and was very polite and knowledgeable about the current system we had and the new systems we had to choose from. After deciding our needs and taking a heat load measurement we settled on a 3 ton 16seer 2 stage system. Mason and his crew came out the next morning and had me cooling down after lunchtime. Mason walked me through the system and gave me a great teaching experience on how a HVAC system works. I would like to mention we did get two other bids from contractors through our AHS program offered and both were higher that Sunny Services quote. I couldn't be happier with my decision and would highly recommend Sunny Services if in the need to replace or repair a system. read more

I have used Sunny Service a handful of times over the years, most recently to replace our AC unit, redo all of our duct work and add insulation to our home. I cannot say enough good things about our experience - from Tim who came to diagnose our issue, to Todd who quoted our job to the crew they sent to install our AC, everyone was knowledgeable, kind and responsive. I especially appreciate the crew they sent to install the new AC. We've had a lot of work done on our house over the past year and this was by far the most hard working crew I've seen. They all knew what they were doing and it was evident that Sunny Service hires well. If you have the unfortunate pleasure of your AC going out, this is hands down who I would recommend. read more

We were referred to Sunny Service by our previous service provider who has chosen to scale back their area of business. That said a lot about the recommendation. We were greeted by a knowledgeable and friendly technician who provided excellent service. Sunny Service has modern billing as well as quality controls in place check behind one another assuring work is done to the highest standards. When I had to call Sunny Service they came out immediately working me into their schedule knowing I was under a pressure situation. (Well aren't we all?) They truly went above and beyond for me I feel and not once cut corners even triple checking things other people worked on. We have enjoyed worked working with Sunny Service and the staff from scheduling to the technicians are great! Calling for AC/Heating work is not pleasurable but calling "Sunny" they make it a great experience. Even playing with our dogs! :) read more

Since Covid lockdown in March 2020, my family had not been able to get our central air checked out by a tech. We were worried since the winter storm of 2021 occurred and all the crazy rain thats been taking place. Enter Sunny's Service, who my sister had found on Yelp and liked the good reviews that accompanied it. We were promptly scheduled for an appointment. Nick was our technician and did an excellent and thorough job. He even insulated a hose for our unit and placed fresh batteries for our thermostat. Would I recommend them, I sure would and am very glad and relieved to have found a company that is smart, efficient and reliable to take care of our a/c during this Texas weather. read more

Sunny Service came and performed some duct cleaning for us. With a new baby in the house (and knowing it is far from a new house) we realized it was a wise investment. Their crew of 3 was very respectful and efficient during their time spent cleaning the various areas of duct throughout our 2 story house. It's been almost a month and our air definitely feels cleaner and we can tell our a/c functions / blows much more efficiently throughout the house. We had to replace our air filters much sooner than normal, which we know means the duct cleaning is working! Sunny Service is a reputable, local company we would recommend to anyone. read more

Great same day service very professional and on time replaced blower motor in no time very satisfied

Called to find out if they worked on Mini-split systems and what the charge would be to evac the lines and do a leak test. The guy who answered the phone put me on hold for over 15 minutes, then came back on and asked when I wanted to schedule the service. I told him 1: that I just needed to know if they did that service and 2: what the charge would be. He informed me that they don't give pricing over the phone. What??? No way am I givining anyone a blank check. He then said he's put me in touch with a manager. Put me on hold again and was put through to voice mail. Complete and total waste of my time. Come on people, I'd think during these times you'd be a little more interested in gaining new customers...guess not. read more

Great service and value! Got quotes from 3 other vendors and this came as a winner. Very responsive and fast.

Replace a 19-year-old unit with a Lennox AC (4 ton) and furnace. The air temperature inside my home is amazing. The crew at Sunny Service did an amazing install to get the new system up and running in late July in Texas when the temperature was 102 with a heat index of 108. Cleaned up inside and out along with hauling off old systems and components. The difference in air comfort and the low noise of the compressor is night and day compared to the old unit that I replace. For now, extremely happy. I explored other HVAC manufactures and installation companies but settle with this company as a result of a program with a Costco. Brendon knowledge of the product and installation enhancement recommendation determined my final decision. read more

Sunny Service was recommended to us by another A/C company a few years ago. We have used them for service, maintenance and now for our new heater and air conditioner installation. All of their technicians have been respectful and knowledgeable, and their service has been prompt and thorough. They are cost competitive and we used them to install our new A/C unit after they came in with the best offer. The installation was quick and the follow-up support has been better than expected. They are a great company and I have recommended them to all of my family. read more

I needed one of the two units I had checked out. The young man was very thorough. He explained all the different readings from the meter to me and spent a good amount of time at my house. I also asked him to check the unit that was working. He did the same thorough job. I had them replace both units and their installation is top notch. Everything is shiny and new. They did above and beyond what was required. Thank you Sunny Service. read more

One of our a/c unit needed 2 parts to be replaced. After an initial assessment which happened to be on a holiday, but with no extra surcharge, the parts were ordered and the repairs were scheduled within 48 hrs. Brandon came a little earlier than the appointment, he wore shoe covers, gloves and a mask. We appreciated him taking these precautions. He installed the new parts within 1:30 hrs, he was very professional and courteous. He took the time to answer all of our questions. Our a/c unit was repaired within a short time frame of breaking down and works great now. The price for the repairs was very reasonable too. We're very pleased with the quality of service we received from Sunny Service and espionage from Brandon. read more
