My pedicure took 15 minutes and this is not an exaggeration. I was the first person there in the morning (with an appt) so they were not busy at all. (Arrived at 9:30, started my pedi at 9:35 and she was done by 9:50) I wasn't even offered the pedicure spa packages and didn't notice they had them until I saw them advertised on the wall half way into my pedi. All she did was cut my nails, file them, trimmed my cuticles, used a light scrub on my heels with what looked like hand soap, put on a glob of cheap lotion, and then painted my nails. 15 minutes, my heels were still dry, and it cost me $28 ($31 with tip that I cringed to give her). I wanted a nice relaxing pedi for at least 30 minutes and I got something that I could have done better myself if I wasn't 30 weeks pregnant and could actually reach my feet. read more

First of all I got French Tips (which they usually don't do but made an effort) Lynn was painting my nails. the first time with my white coat there was a little hair in it and the white polish was clear and needed a second coat. But she didn't. When it came up to the red French tips, she did them very crooked. So, I told her can you please redo this. I asked my friends nail stylist to do mine fully over because she did a much better job than mine. She also spoke English. After that I was finally satisfied with my nails. read more

Come here all the time now! They have great service and my color stays on for at least 2-3 weeks (just for regular manicure)! I stopped the gel because my nails were breaking and I assume it's not good for my nails anymore. They provide a mini massage while your nails are drying. I believe they close at 7pm on weekends and I came in at 6:50 (I know, I'm terrible) but without a problem, they took me in because I needed a manicure badly!! read more

Seriously wasted my money here. I got a gel manicure and she didnt even bother to clean up my nails. Shes chopped my nails off and filed it generically applied a sad excuse for a polish 3 times cause the color didn't show up. Every time a new customer would come in, I would be forgotten. I will remain loyal as I have the day this salon opened. I have never called and not been accommodated. These are the nicest women, they try so hard to learn and understand what is being communicated to them. My favorite operator treats me as if Iam her best friend, I am definitely her friend. When you show kindness, it comes back ten fold. The staff is eager to please, massage is always given as your nails dry, my gel manicure lasts three weeks, and looks new . I don't even want to give this place 1 star. THE RUDEST EMPLOYEES EVER. I don't expect to be pampered (although most people do and it's always appreciated), but I do expect to be treated WITH respect. I thought I made a mistake by going there ONCE and getting my eyebrows waxed and BURNED and dealing with an employee who cared LESS about my well being....but I made ANOTHER appointment for nails and WHAT A MISTAKE!! They do a good job, but THEY DISRESPECTED me so much. The lady employee wanted me to die, giving me looks of death every time I squirmed because she was hurting me when she touched me. Not returning! My friend swears by this place and I'm not sure why. I went with her and we both were getting gel fills. They took her first and told me to sit down next to her. I thought we'd be done together but I literally waited until the lady was done with her nails until she began mine. I should've skipped out. I told her I wanted the same shape as I came in with (sharp and pointy) but instead I ended up with round and oval. I explained 6 times that I wanted it more pointy and she never got it. I have in and ended up with the exact opposite. When it came time for my top coat another woman sent me over to the nail dryer before she put the top coat on and I sat there for 15 minutes. This has been my go to nail salon if I don't go to my usual one since it's a few stores down from my job. Today was the last time I'll be going there. Me and my co-worker walked in at 7:15 and we noticed the floors being washed and asked if they were closing at 8? And two of the nail technicians both said yes so we proceeded to pick out our colors and sat down. Our ladies seemed very annoyed and pissed. Both speaking to each other in their language, it was quite obvious they were talking about us. A few moments later the lady rudely says "for future we close at 7:30".....no comment there They rushed through the whole thing. Lily who was my lady rudely told me to "relax" twice because I have tense hands. If she wasn't in the middle of doing my nails I would have left. Everyone here looks like they hate their job. Probably the worst gel mani and pedicure I've ever gotten. The gel mani was super blotchy/uneven and my pedicure cracked and peeled the day after! I have no idea how and why a plain white pedi could go so bad just after one day! The lady cut my nail too short and didn't do a good job cleaning- you can still see some of my old nail color on the sides. I refuse to give them the $60 I spend on nails each week. The manicure is less than average and they charge to take off your gel polish, which I've never had done in all the years of getting a manicure. This is my mother's go to nail place and I can see why. Every time we visit for a little mother-daughter bonding nail time the women who run the salon are friendly and polite. The salon is large and clean, and has a decent selection of nail polish. It never feels overcrowded and has lots parking (something I will admit I don't even think about, living in the city). I don't know if the salon does nail art, but my mother once got a gel manicure and she loved it. He spent all of about 1 minute on the massage and haphazardly went about painting my nails so I had to point out a few times where he had to go back and fix his job (i.e. got quite a bit of paint on my skin). It was the fastest pedicure I have ever gotten and I asked her to use he callous remover and she said, "It's too late, next time. You should have told me earlier." So rude! LOVE this place! They are so kind and accommodating and offer a ton of services at a standard rate. They're also open late, which is a plus! I've never had an issue seeing someone even if I walk in at peek times. There are so many people working so there are always available chairs! Why bother asking? Sad thing is that "Lisa", who appears to be the manager, joined in and said "we want to leave 7:30 if no customers". She also told another woman who just finished her manicure that she could not have another service performed tonight, that she would have to wait, "next time". Ok, I keep going back, why? They do give a very nice mani and pedi... however they are rude as they expect very large tips. If you tip 15%.. with I think is appropriate, they actually question you and ask for more. This past weekend I spent $150 in services and gave $35 in tips. I tried Sunny Spa as I have totally gone off French Nails and needed to find a new place. I called at the last minute on a Sunday and got an appointment for a mani pedi French nails. True to their word, my apt was honored on time and what a very pleasant surprise. The place was bustling for a Sunday but the staff was pleasant and friendly and extremely professional. All wore semi uniforms and gloves and masks while working. The place was absolutely immaculate including disposable liners for the foot baths. The prices are absolutely on a par with other spas. This is the WORST place! Don't be fooled by other reviews or the nice surroundings. None of the staff speak any English so when you ask a question, they don't understand. They tortured my daughter recently with a simple waxing procedure and when she started crying and then sobbing uncontrollably they continued and wouldn't stop. They are monsters and should be shut down. Don't bring your children here unless you want them tortured. She is professional and responds perfectly to requests regarding pressure and areas that need specific treatment. This place is no different, some technicians are marginally better than others, but their basic pedicure should really be called a foot wash and polish change since that is all they do, and only attempt to clean cuticles and dead skin when you get the pricy spa pedicure. read more

While the mani/pedis are your standard fare, though usually a few notches above a lot of the little shops in PW, they are by far the FASTEST place. I rarely have had to wait more than a few minutes, though they let you soak and sit in a chair (the place is rather large and never at capacity in terms of seating) and relax which I don't mind at all. I've never made an appointment and always walk in and am out (for a regular pedicure) usually within 30 minutes. For me this a HUGE selling point along with autoclaved, straight out of the plastic pouch, tools and disposable pumice stones. read more
