After coming to this place a handful of times in the past couple of years, I can't help, I have to give you my review. - The service: It's OK. Sometimes you get a better manicure, sometimes a worse one. It depends on the technician and how they're doing that day. After all, don't we all have good and bad days? Overall, though, do not expect a pampering experience. Not at all. At best, you have an attempt at conversation, which inevitably ends with unappropriate personal questions. All that matters to them is that you tip, and that you do it cash. - Cleanliness: The uv lamps for gels are filthy. And they reuse unwrapped tools. If you make them notice, good luck with the attitude. And here we go to the third point. - The attitude: not good at all. Don't get me wrong, some of the people working here are really nice and polite, but not matter what, 90% of the times I leave this place, I dont feel rested or relaxed, like I should be, and like I do when I leave other nail salons. If you ask something (for example, can I get my cuticles softened in water?), the technitian might get grumpy and start talking in foreign language with the coworkers. As a customer, I feel very disrespected when this happens. You are not doing us a favor, doing our nails. We are paying for a service, and also we are paying a premium (35 for mani gels, before tax and tips). And also, you have competiton of other nail salons. Don't necessaryly expect a thank you for leaving a 18% tip or a 20% one. Also, no shoulder massage for you, you nobody random walk in! Regular pedicure is something like 50 dollars before tax and tips... another insane price for not much love, just a quick and distracted massage and grating. Maybe this is my experience because I am not a regular here, and because I have had so much better service at better prices. However, just because I am a walk in, just because I am not "a regular" it does not mean I have to get second citizen treatment. Business smarts zero from this establishment. I gave it many chances. Been going here for the last couple months for the dip powder manicure. I am very impressed with the wide-range of colors, friendliness of the workers, and how they do a great job on the manicures with the powder. It's so nice how the technicians offer a complimentary shoulder and back massage before your nails are done. I always love coming here and feel so relaxed when I leave! This is my new favorite. I've been going to this salon for a little over a year now. Some powder manicures were good, others too thin or just not good. This past week I went for a powder mani/pedicure appt and I think they confused me with a walk in that they were squeezing in. I sat for the pedicure and the next thing I knew another technician came over and started doing my finger nails. I thought he was just going to take off my polish and let me sit with remover like usual. Instead he did my nails in the dark corner awkwardly having me reach over so he could reach my left hand. When we got to his chair I could finally see the mess he made of my nails. My cuticles weren't pushed down and the powder started way too high on 3/5 nails. He said he'd redo it but I was already late so I just asked them to remove the polish. When Tina, the owner/manager, came over to see what was taking so long he told her that I didn't like the color. Are you kidding me?!? He then proceeded to do a half assed job removing the crappy powder job. He was obviously annoyed and took it out on my nails. See the attached photos to see how he let me leave the place. My nails burned for hours after I left. Oh and they made me pay for the pedicure which was also a terrible rush job. I tried this salon post pandemic and they highly recommended powder gel. My nails were healthy snd strong for 3 years. First powder gel was fine and nails looked healthy after so I had a second powder gel . When they removed the polish the second time my nails were completely stripped, cracked and paper thin. I opted for no Polish this time. I went back after a week because I could not believe the condition of my nails snd spoke to the lady in charge who basically dismissed me. I don't know what they did but three weeks later my nails are a mess. I will never use this salon again. read more

I'm giving four stars because every other time I came it was fabulous. This time around, not so much. I called and scheduled an appointment and asked for a technician that did nail designs (I wanted something special for my birthday). Today I came for my appointment and I was so disappointed to say the least. I'm sure the technician could tell by my face how upset I was but instead chose to ignore it. At least I know, if I want a design or something special, I will have to go to a different salon. read more

I have lived in Port all my life and have never had as good of an experience as I did at this nail salon. I was so sick of the rudeness I encountered at other establishments and am beyond relieved to have found my new go to spot. The prices are reasonable, the service is without a doubt the best, and the staff is kind and professional. Tina and Chris did an incredible job fixing bad acrylic tips. I didn't even have an appointment but they squeezed me in. They added an ombré glitter polish using nexegen powder which hasn't failed me yet! (No chipping whatsoever and not peeling like gel does). I live in Port and have found it very hard to find a good nail place. Mostly because the other salons are very rude and unprofessional. My daughter found this place and loved it. They are very nice to her and do a great job. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the last time we went. We had an appointment but they still made my daughter wait 1/2 to be seen, they might have mistaken her. I think Tina wasn't there and I don't think things run the same without her. Usually they are very attentive, they speak in English and offer you massages and drinks. This time they weren't, but I'm giving them the 4 stars anyway. Hopefully next tine it will be better. This was my second visit here. The first time it was an okay experience, but the one thing I would like to compliment for this place is the cleanliness for a nail salon. However for $35 for mani-pedi and feels like a rush job... no good. Not only that there was polish left on the sides of my fingers. The cherry on top was when it chipped two hours after having them done. If you paint the nails properly this should not happen. If you're paying for a service Even if it's a basic mani-pedi you should still be taken care of. Luckily plenty of other nail salons to choose from! read more

Beyond frustrating experience. This is one of the few salons with late weekend hours, drive here and got turned away an hour and a half before closing!!! Got here at 6p and they claim a 7:30p closing time to be told to come tomorrow. Unfortunately you're never going to get my patronage. First time in, there for three hours (usually don't mind, especially as a walk in) but my back started to hurt and I didn't even get a massage after service. Great over 100 color selection to choose from and definitely prefer the dip process versus the typically acrylic or more expensive UV gel. No LED or UV is used for this which is definitely a plus in my book, however (and I'm not sure if I got someone new) but she over filed and the shape wasn't too my liking (even after showing her a picture and comparing to the other nail tech). Some nails were shorter than others and some thicker than others. I'm extremely picky and notice everything, so I fixed them when I got home because I was not about to stay another 3 hours just to fix them. The price is a little high considering there's not as much products being used in comparison to acrylic, but they did last a solid two weeks. Also didn't want to get charged for removal so took them off myself at home (I've been doing my nails for years, so I know which products to use and which process) and it was definitely a lot easier and much less damaging than acrylics. My natural nails grew and didn't break off nor were they paper thin after, amazing! If and when I return, would definitely make sure to get someone else and probably just stick to a wrap (over my own nails) and skip the tips. Also, when paying with a card they don't have a tip line for you to add too when you sign, so they added it to the price and tried to get away with the "oh, I will give it to her" but no, I had to insist I wanted to hand her the tip myself. read more
