When entering our receipt at home, we discovered that about half were charged at $12.99/lb. My wife called immediately and was told it was her responsibility to check every individual package, even though they were all displayed together under the sale tag. A short time later the owner called and offered to make it right, which we appreciated. I attempted to update my original review to reflect that resolution, but found that I had been blocked from the store's Facebook page and could no longer access my review. Posting this simply so other customers are aware to double-check pricing, even when items are stocked under a single sale sign.

We were referred here to purchase some Kalamazoo coffee beans. They had a large variety of beans, ground coffee and K- cups. One of my favorite features was the bulk bin area. I was able to scoop out any amount of beans, rather than being stuck with a pre-packaged size. The store was clean, well layed out and staff were very nice.

I can always count on Meijer to be well stocked with a big selection of exotic produce as well as the usual local produce. Everything is fresh and ripe. What don't like so much about Meijer fortunately doesn't happen very often is for example 2 summers ago meijers offered Lemon drop melons ,if you have never tried one ya should they are amazing anyway last summerthe didn't offer them??? I was so disappointed. I was able to find them at a different grocery store in town. The other reason I like shopping at Meijer is because the staff is unionized and they have health insurance and other benefits which helps that job be a living wage. I go to this Meijer all the time because they have a very large selection of food. I will…read moreoccasionally stop by the pet section to grab cat or dog food. I decided to take a look at the beta fish because why not and noticed they are in pretty bad condition. There's algae growing inside the cups, that doesn't happen over night, and a lot of feces. Not only that, but the betas look EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY. There is one fish that's upside down, not dead, and cannot stay under the waterline. I'm assuming it's some sort of bloating. Why are you guys selling betas if you're not caring for them properly? I did notify one of the employees and he looked at me like "what am I supposed to do about it?"

It's a haven for me and here's why... THE GOOD: I love the fact that Trader Joe's has quick vegan friendly meals that are so much cheaper than eating out. I can find affordable salads, frozen dinners (pasta, potatoes, veggies, etc.), soups, snacks, chips, vegan ice cream and many other healthy options available and you can eat like a king for a single meal that's under $5-6 where when you eat out, it's much more, especially with inflation and tips, it's way too costly to eat out at a restaurant nowadays, but Trader Joe's saves you so much and you get so much for reasonable prices. THE BAD: Their vegan options have ingredients that are questionably GMO. However even if I avoid those, thankfully there are good number of alternative items to choose from. WHAT'S UNIQUE: Just this location is right across from the Costco and next to MOD's Pizza which is perfect place to stop off and get everything I need.
