She gave me some great ideas of what I could do to maximize the design while remaining in my budget. I could do 18-months no interest, and I was sold. They were prompt in getting me scheduled for the closet installation, and the installer was prompt, friendly & professional. He took about 4 hours to install my design and cleaned up properly afterward. They contacted me 6 months later asking if I wanted any additional work, and I did. I wanted built-ins for my home office. I had a different designer this time who was ok, she wasn't as well-seasoned with their products as my first designer, so I feel she didn't completely understand what I wanted. And this was quite evident during the installation, when my drawers were tapered width, which created so much wasted space. Luckily the company was able to redesign and reinstall my drawers to my expectations. I really appreciated that, and this is what would keep me coming back to them again. If they weren't so prompt and willing to make this right, I would not seek their services again. Alas, my imagination wheels are turning on what project I may have them do next.

We were looking for small bins to tidy up our cupboards and linen closet and found just what we needed. We also found a nice coat rack for the wall by our back door. The staff was super friendly and helpful with their suggestions as they guided us to what we were looking for. As of this writing 5/10/26 they're condensing the store to make room for Bed Bath and Beyond merchandise, so there's some great clearance prices. We're looking forward to returning for more organization ideas and to see the look of the store once the transformation is complete. Keep this store in mind if your spaces need organizing because there is definitely something for every room and everybody.

Found some glass jar containers with metal lids on them, but the glass is much heavier than I was hoping for. Still on the hunt for a tin container with a see-through lid and secure clasp. Also looking for a container that is big enough to hold about 6 quarts of snacks and items. Found some OXO Pop plastic containers, but once again would prefer a tin container. Keep on looking...

Text convo with a friend this evening:…read more Me: Unrelated to anything I just spent 2 hours at the Container Store and have never been happier. Friend: Wherever we can find peace! Ahh, peace. I don't know the meaning of the word. Though I'm trying! As a maximalist gal with ADHD in a small house I'm forever in search of an organizational and functional storage plan I can stick with. Through much introspection and many self help books I recently realized my issue is "if I can't see it, it doesn't exist." Which means I'm forever buying cans of black beans when what I really need is great northern and constantly getting takeout because "there's nothing in this house to eat." So, with this new clarity in hand, I've taken to overhauling my kitchen in the new year. And the Container Store has been clutch in providing solutions to my storage issues. A pantry that requires a step ladder to reach? How about a pull down spice rack? Deep drawers without dividers? How about stacking bins so I can use the vertical space, too? Expired baking ingredients from the last time I tried to reorganize but didn't realize until it was too late that the jars I put everything in don't stack effectively, leaving a teetering mess I've been afraid to disturb? How about a baking pantry storage set with equal sized widths for easy stacking? (And built in brown sugar softeners and powdered sugar sifters, too! Be still my heart!). Weird corner cabinets that are deep caves of awkward, oft unused space? Why not some pull out shelving storage? And so much more! Jar openers! Lemon keepers! Fancy pens! NOTEBOOKS AND PLANNERS! Omg. I haven't even begun to talk about the craft storage. What's not to love??? Well, ok. I guess the prices. Which can be high. But they carry many solutions I can't find anywhere else so sometimes I have to bite the bullet and pony up. I do my best to try and stick to their in-house products to save a bit of scratch tho. And becoming a rewards member will net you some solid coupons now and again. In fact, today I happened to have a 25% off coupon so I stocked up on those deep drawer organizers. It took me a while to find the right combo/configurations for our unusually sized cabinetry but I think I figured it out thanks to the countertop they have with grids to help you easily measure. Very handy. Staff here is lovely and ever so helpful. It's never a cheap visit here but it's always a beneficial one. And hey, thanks to my new pantry risers and lists of items we have taped to the inside door (another new trick!) I now know we have 7 cans of black beans, 4 of which are low sodium, and the last time I went to the grocery I got the right beans at last.

We spent about 3, 4 hour sessions unpacking, organizing and by the time we came to the final day, Jade had a good sense of how I functioned. Beyond all of this, Jade truly made me feel comfortable. I've always considered my hoarding tendencies, but never really addressed them. In all honesty, opening up in that way can be very intimate and vulnerable. I received a reasonable quote and based on other positive reviews - I went ahead and book service. My appointment was for 930am. At about 945 I texted the number I had been communicating with to get an update since no one was here - I received a response that Sarah, the cleaner, needed to stop for some supplies and was running a bit behind but would be there soon.She arrived at about 1015 and only had a small bucket of a few cleaning supplies. I mentioned that I had a vacuum in a closet that she could utilize - she thanked me and we discussed that I needed my house deep cleaned as I as getting ready to list it for sale. She was here until about 2:45 when she ubrutly left and said "well that's all there is plus im out of supplies". She never attempted to collect payment or ask if I was okay with the status of the house. While she was here she took multiple phone calls while working to discuss her legal issues and how to get her car out of impound. She cleaned my floors by using a swiffer wetjet - that was in the closet with the vacuum. If im paying for a professional cleaning service, you should not be utilizing a swiffer to clean my floors. Every room in my house is still dirty and I am going to have to now spend hours cleaning. The kitchen still has obvious dirty floors, the stove looks worse than it did before she arrived and she didn't even clean the outside of the cabinets, let alone the inside. The walls in the bedrooms were still covered in dust and I found a spider still chilling on the wall in one so I don't even know what she did while she was in there. While no money was wasted - I've wasted hours of my time. (And im still perplexed she left without ensuring I paid for the services of the company she works for).
